Ok so I'm not a die hard fan or anything but I was really looking forward to where this show would take its characters. This episode was utter trash. Why is it that you set up a possibly very emotional moment alongside good character drama only to throw it out the window. The gag was that they elderly fan group reverse simped to the point of it being fairy tail level bs and somehow made the stand off fail. Why are you this excited when one of your freinds just got shot and you guys are being held hostage. This show is just honestly so disappointing. To think I waited that long for what i thought would be a cool concept with character drama to be turned into some utterly boring repulsive story telling with some really horrible direction.

Decent episode. we got to see a bit of Kato's backstory and reason why he was demoted from the first division.

I really want to know Daisuke's back story and why he wanted to be a detective.

More moments for Suzue Kanbe pls! Cause she's gorgeous af.

Okay Okay, Ep 3 rule is key.

Ep 1 & 2 were fun, but the formula could get stale.

But now with our Boii Haru becoming grans approved moral and financial arbiter.
This is gon be gud

What I don’t get is why the first division shunned Haru after he killed that woman. It was in self defence and saved lives potentially. Seems more like jealously than anything and that they just wanted an opportunity to see him fail.
He wasn't shunned by them. If you remember the 2nd episode, Daisuke said that after that incident Haru was unable to hold a gun and as he is a police office being not able to use a gun is bad. That's why he was transferred to other team.

How they didn't show what happened after they went to Hong Kong, I feel like I skipped one episode ( ̄▽ ̄)

It is time to simp once more.

I was kinda confused when it started when they met the grandmother, because if I remember correctly, there were supposed to go to Hong Kong, but then they said they brought a souvenir from there, so I realized they skipped that part. I was actually looking forward to what would happen there. Well, this was an alright episode. We got to see what happened to Haru and why he transferred to a different division.

Honestly though, I think they should have started this this season instead of letting it start last season. Because of the long delay between the first 2 episodes and this one, it feels like the hype has died out. More people would probably have watched this if it came out this season instead, though we'd have to experience the Daisuke Simping Twitter Community™ the start of this season instead lol.

During Katou's flashback, my first thought was "Parkour!!". lol

Daisuke is like an attractive version of Batman.

Murase Ayumu is actually really good at English. I wonder why he speaks with Engrish in anime. Still, it was funny.

Because of the long break this anime took, I would have forgotten this existed, but a lot of fujoshies are in love with this, and I keep seeing their fanarts everywhere. lol. Some of them were actually brilliant!

so can we say that Daisuke Kanbe is a policeman or just some what like that of Sherlock Holmes, who is just a very rich guy who just wants to do something exciting with his money???

So, Kato has guilt feeling of shooting people even thought they're perps and even if his life is on the line, Funny that US cops have no hesitation of shooting suspects who has no hesitation of shooting back at them, even black people, even though they didn't do anything. BLACK LIVES MATTER, man.

Batman and Robin's Money adventures is back at last. Been a while since Kanbe used some grease. He's controlled a bit after visiting his granny I guess.
The hostage scene was kinda fast paced with all happenings at once. Though all wrapped up pretty good.

i saw on twitter (not from the official twitter, mind you, so I'm a bit wary of this) that the episode was skipped due to the current situation in hong kong.

so glad this series is back. i love how every time haru would say something that daisuke doesn't car about he would just speed up the car lmao. i missed this duo so much.

woa, so haru and ryou looked like they used to be best friends. i hope we find out more details on what happened in that incident and why that woman tried to save the guy holding them hostage. loved the story of the guy haru met on the train. he probably was reminded of himself. didn't expect him to do that but it was cute how far he would go for his sister.

A train car full of elder idol fangirls and one of them gets held hostage at gun point, then they swarm him with their iron will to get to the concert on time. Then Daisuke shows up and defuses the situation in minutes. This made me laugh my ass off. I missed this stupid show.

if this is true then first of all this is scary how big Chinese Government have influence... but in the same time they have working concentration/reeducation camps and other countries are doing nothing about that.
Secondly I hope they will still release this episode as OVA or something.

With this episode, all the Spring 2020 leftovers have returned! Glad to have this strong show back that left a great first impression. As many have pointed out, the Hong Kong journey was somehow skipped, maybe it would return soon.

And immediately, Daisuke's return to his family, tagging Haru along for the ride. What an experience that was.

The same kid that Haru has encountered in the Shinkansen, now embrazoned in a crime scene. The feud with other divisions though, and watching Haru's dismissal felt like a headshot.

Nonetheless, with Daisuke onboard, this duo plays ragtag cases like it's the norm, but progressing at their own pace whilst the usual traits of being stupidly Balance:Unlimited that's always hilarious and take a small deal to pull it off.

The elder fangirls though, certainly a lot of "drama", and Daisuke once again defuses the crime and Haru's disingenuous history.

A great return to form, and finally this can continue into the Summer season.

Great to have this show back weekly! Hopefully, no more delays now.

Daisuke and Haru's relationship takes a grand step forward and it was amazing to see how much trust Daisuke put into Haru's words. Definitely looking forward to more of this!

Seriously though, he just solved this case single-handedly pretty much xD. He's got the brains and the money, what else does one need?

Damn, that backstory of Haru's though. Certainly would make most detectives traumatized, that's for sure.

Hong Kong trip and the start to the episode felt really disconnected from Episode 2's finale though, I wonder if we'll be getting that soon. Wouldn't be surprised if this just happened to be like the 4th episode accidentally or something of the sort, lol.

We never got to see what they did in Hong Kong. I hope they'll revisit it in a future episode. Anyway, I really like this show because of how ridiculous it is. Who would've thought that I would miss Daisuke's bad voice acting haha.

So Haru was traumatised by shooting that woman. Honestly, he's not in the wrong, she was clearly a criminal and accomplice and would've killed him if he didn't shoot her. He is way too kind-hearted.

That college kid though, even if he made a lot of money from his ChainTube video. Since he's a criminal he won't be able to touch any of the money, right? What's the point of holding people hostage if he can't even use the money to help his own sister?

My favorite part was how Daisuke paid that boyband to abandon their farewell concert to sing for those old ladies on the shinkansen lol money definitely talks.

If they had to cut the Hong Kong trip out I wish there was a summary or blurb somewhere about what happened..... the "relationship" between Daisuke and Haru seems to have progressed a bit and I have no idea why and that bugs me more than anything.

I mean....by the end of episode 2 it seems like the two didn't even want to be in the same room as each other...then, in this episode 3, to suddenly have them sitting in front of Daisuke's grandma I was shocked that Haru hadn't tried to go all out in "throwing Daisuke under the bus" other than the "difference in financial opinion" comment....a reason also wasn't stated about why they were visiting Grandma in the first place.
Hence why it bothers me...if not for the fact there's nothing else this season that I'm anticipating more than this I'd put this on the back burner...

The reason for the boy to do this was predictable. He said he needs to send his sister to USA and then we got info that this stream will give a lot of money so it was obvious what was going on but a touching episode nonetheless. Almost made me cry.

According to the screenwriter commentary on the website, what happened in Hong Kong is going to be a Drama CD for the purchase of the DVD/Blu-Ray.

Too bad they skip the Hong Kong episode, but maybe the story in Hong Kong would have less impact for a come back.

I really liked how they explained Haru's backstory. It was a great episode, though I feel like the fangirling scene kind of ruined it. I know this show is a comedy, but I thought the timing was really off.

I still have a mixed feelings with the pacing and timings of this show since episode 1, but I'm hopeful since the show is getting better overall every episode.

That way to make money is dangerous and stupid at the same time lol. I am surprised that they show Haru's backstory early, looks like his character is almost complete after this episode. Now everything makes sense to his character, shooting and maybe killing at the end someone in self defence was a toll on his sanity.

Looks like they skipped the Hong Kong episode due to the current situation, sad.

Every old lady is calm until someone stops them from seeing the Yokoights concert. Despite some actions still feeling over the top, I really think this is one of the few times where Kambe using his money to pursuade the criminal is respectable. Also nice to see he trusted Kato's word of the guy not being the type to kill. I really think the first devision shunning him is a bit too much because of his shooting PTSD making him incapable in their eyes., hopefully Kato can overcome it.
