i have this Mr.Im, Dal Young on my blacklist. As for why i dont like him well...

so i was wondering if im the only who blacklists people like authors or voice actors or anybody else from anime/manga industry. Do you also have somebody that you dislike or refuse to try out his/her works?
if yes then why and who is he/she?

Not really, cause I think people can learn from their mistakes. Also, voice actors don't make the entirety of a character, so...

Eh, on second thought, I guess I really don't care about the staff THAT much when I pick anime to watch, but if it someone noteworthy, then it will get me more or less hyped for it. But I will never completely blacklist someone.

Shinichiro Watanabe, Hayao Miyazaki, Urobuchi Gen, the author of Berserk and all of Manglobe
especially Manglobe. The day they went bankrupt was the day I regained a little bit of hope in the anime industry

I actually don't really pay much attention to whose work an anime is. Sure I might look up who did a good anime and check out his/her other works, but when something is bad I wouldn't go out of my way to not watch anything from the person in the future.
If your favourite character is Tsutsukakushi Tsukiko, you are my soul mate.

Been a long time since I've been here, I'll continue expressing myself freely and believe everyone should too.

I wanted to avoid Junji Majima since he provided a voice in Kodomo no Jikan and Kodomo no Jikan's characters were annoying. I don't avoid him now.

The list is long OP, and full of explicit language.

Let's just say that the list contains like a half of the anime industry.

Not really- I go by my own research whether "x" manga/anime is good by popular opinion. I wont place my own bias before actually trying it. Although I do blacklist genres, such as harem and yaoi. Well instead of blacklist, its more of a giant turn-off.

I watch anime for the anime, I don't care who makes it. I wouldn't care if they flayed live puppies for a hobby it's none of my business. Although maybe the police should get on that.

I don't like his attitude during interviews. He seems a bit arrogant and disrespectful of fans, imo.

Not really, but Kenji Nakamura really disappointed me recently with his shitty anime like Gatchaman Crowds and Tsuritama. Its really sad that his new anime is so bad after making good stuff like Mononoke and Trapeze, so yeah I don't really have faith in his future endeavors.

Although I would probably have extremely low expectations or not expecting the show to be good if I watch their works.

geno studio founder is not from manglobe and has nothing to do with manglobe, but mainly noitamina and his bigger scheme, twin engine... for genocidal organ production, they prefer to keep the key staff... so rather then direct successor, it was more like absorbsion...

Basically this.

After not enjoying Madoka Magica, and having other people tell me that Urobuchi's other works may have similar themes, I started wondering whether I might not like them either. But even there I decided to reserve judgement until after I watch Expelled From Paradise.
