Oh and Harry's a pedophile. That girl was supposedly 7 five years ago. Now she can't be more than 12. Wtf.

Harry do not care anything for the little girl, as long as she is useful, she can even be 5 XD.

And this.

What a seriously underrated anime this is.

Harry made his move on Bear's daughter, of course he would do something like this, even if she is younger...

Brandon doesn't even think anymore, just push the trigger...

The way we saw such an array of complex emotions from Sid, good and bad traits, and his relationship with Bear before that crushing death scene really shows what I like about this anime. We respect everyone out here. Bear cried! Jesus, what a sad scene. I really appreciated the detail of Sid expecting a gun to be the first thing Bear pulled out, and the foreshadowing of him watching the boat well drinking. The directing is one of my favorite parts of this anime, even if it can be awkward at times. Despite last episode being the worst, this one really pulled through. I also love how we've seen Bunji and Brandon get as close as they have, the interactions between people say a whole lot in Gungrave.

Wow... such a powerful episode. I guess that's what happens when you betray the organization, and good ol' Brandon came through for the dirty work.

I definitely like the pair of Bunji and Brandon they seem to have a lot in common especially when Brandon understood when Bunji said that he didn't know what having a family was like.

Excluding Harry going on a date with a 12 year old this was an excellent episode and this series is really growing on me.

Watching this episode be like

It really reminds me of GodFather, though it's "our side" that took the hit instead. The suspense and atmosphere were really well done. I like how they constantly switching the major characters' POV near the end, so powerful.

Rewatching this nearly 7 years later, it's still sooo good. Such good directing. So many feelings. And there's so much showing and not telling. You're really seeing the rise of Harry and how his ambition is taking over and he slowly is drifting from Brandon.

Pretty solid episode overall. I just wish we had a better protagonist.

I feel like a moron for thinking that Bear's daughter was an adult. I had assumed she had an average height in comparison to all the 8 foot tall men, but it turns out she's actually 12 years old. This series has done a pretty good job at making Harry out to be a complete motherfucker, and if this isn't what makes Brandon give up on Harry then I don't know what will.

That death just felt so real for me. Maybe it was because it showed Bear and Sid's close friendship before hand and Bear's hesitancy to shoot. I can't get over how powerful that was!

Bear should've been the one to shoot Sid, in my opinion. Would've made the scene more powerful, especially if it contrasts with something Brandon might have to do to Harry in the future.

Ironic that Sid got killed for not following the code of the "The Family", when he did it for his actual family, i.e. his son. He couldn't pretend that superficial associations with socialites took precedence over blood bonds.

Harry putting the moves on Bear's daughter, lol. Wasn't Harry already sleeping with some blonde an episode ago? Bear might actually go through on his "killing him" threat if he tries the same here.

This whole mafia business isn't someone who want to leave a happy life can do. You have to kill your family and friend over business image. Hopefully, Brandon realize that that leave.
