| That depends actually. I like to think that I usually am very secure in my self so I won't be ashamed to be in the same fandom as they are. It's pretty much a constant in any fandom. Besides, I'd like to believe that the people who's opinion matters to me generally judge by individual merits rather than group image. What I don't like however are people who think their shit smells better than the rest of us. If there is a Log Horizon elitist, I'll be just as pissed as I would be with a GitS elitist. Honestly the AoT fanbase was half of the reason why I started disliking AoT, they always seem to think that AoT is the greatest anime ever made and when ask them what else they've watched, its always One Punch Man or "Those muscular guys that always scream." Also I do find it annoying when my irl friends watch an anime I've just finished watching or when they watch something off of my favourites list and add it to their own. |

Seriously, consider the following. TLR began as a love triangle thing with some other girls on the side...nothing out of the norm for your classic Romance Comedy. But then TLR Darkness changed EVERYTHING... Lala and Haruna who were the Main Characters, suddenly became side characters....the main "plot" of the anime shifted from Rito deciding between Lala and Haruna towards the "Harem Plan". Momo, Yami, Mea, Nemesis, and even Nana were given a lot more screen time. Hell, Mea and Nemesis were brand new to TLR and they were featured more prominently. Why would the author do this if the fans REALLY liked Haruna and Lala??? And despite the fact that Momo completely dominated the story....TLR Darkness sold better than the original TLR where Momo rarely showed up. Again, kinda weird if the fans preferred Haruna and Lala... Ultimately, I really don't mind who Japan likes more. TLR Darkness was soooo good (IMO) due to Momo's antics and of course all the godly ecchi and let's be honest borderline porn. |

| I guess at cons this could be a problem. For example, I'll see someone cosplaying as a hot babe from a show I like, and they're not a hot babe at all. This doesn't piss me off exactly, it's just kind of a a weird disconnect, as in "wow that's not how I would have pictured that character looking were she real". I guess it's cool people like shows I like enough to cosplay as the characters though. So yeah, I guess what really pisses me off is that there aren't more hot babes into anime who cosplay. |

| AoT and One Piece normies, especially the OP ones who just care who is the strongest or got the most epic entrance, sure I like that too, but sometimes I get the feeling most fans on social networks reduce it just to those aspects. Then we got creators of theories, the german ones on Youtube are the worst kind of cancer. 90% what they say is shittalk without any proper basis. There are also Kuroko or other sports anime Fujos, they can be annoying, but compared to the fanbase I mentioned earlier they're rather harmless. |
