I think this time, the other guys took it a bit far against Takumi when tormenting him. And hell, I think they even want to cut his hair themselves (since the coach previously wanted him to..) Glad to see Go and Takumi's relationship improve even more. Good episode again. |

| Wow! I can't believe Harada was put through something like that because of people being jealous. Then all the school does is send the offender home and makes the whole team pay for what happens. Really hope that isn't the way things are going to stand. Doesn't matter if they are good students, bullying isn't acceptable for anyone to do! Glad to see that the players who really want to play baseball stick together and try to keep things going. |

| Well that was a pathetic and petty thing to do. They can't deal with the fact that someone is better than them so they resort to violence. It's a shame that the baseball team has to cease their activities because of the actions of a few idiots. |

| What an episode. Takumi's attitude actually pays off in the end with some guys joining him for practice. :D Insane fucking thing from Nobunishi and his pals to torture Harada, i was flabbergasted. That's the first time though in which i respected Go for what he did. Very selfless to help him all the way to treat his injuries. He thinks of everything. I get what the school is trying to do, not blaming them. But i'm supporting Takumi 100 percent in this. |
| Absolutely no remorse by Nobunishi =_= Well at least he didn't deny his actions and even admitted that he wasn't playing baseball because it's fun. I understand doing something you don't like because it looks better on your resume, but dragging others down because of it is just unnecessary. The school shouldn't protect someone like that, it'd be one thing if he apologized and said he was wrong, but he clearly wasn't feeling guilty. Who's to say he won't do something similar in high school and blame someone else? Not that I know anything about the workings of Japanese schools, but from other manga/anime I've read and watched, it always seems like the schools are more worried about their appearances and not bringing the police when they should. That and they say they want to protect their students, but it's ridiculous to make a whole team take responsibility when it was only the actions of a few. Takumi is really stubborn, but not in an annoying way. He didn't even think about telling others about the incident and just keeps wanting to baseball. I know his grandfather said that Takumi doesn't seem to have fun while playing (or something like that), but I think Takumi really loves baseball. Maybe he loves it because he knows he is good at it and the teams he's on can win largely due to his pitching, but that means he still has fun playing baseball. I mean I guess there are people out there who only do things they know they're good at, but I don't think Takumi is like that. I can understand though wanting Takumi to really enjoy playing baseball, and not just for improving skills and winning. |

| I did not expect that torture. Even though I'm still not really fond of Takumi's character, that was just really fucked up and pathetic. What a bunch of morons. These idiots should be thrown out of the team at least. They're just there because it would look good on their resume to begin with anyway, lol... Also, a pretty big bullshit that the whole team has to take responsibility for the incident and cease activities for the moment.... Probably best episode so far. It's getting better. |

| Literally the smallest nitpick, but why does Takumi transfer balls from one basket to the other one by one? Dump the basket over. >> I legit thought they were going to rape him until I remembered these guys are like 13. Seriously though, the way he was belted and how everyone treated the situation later is SO OLD SCHOOL. And I'm not surprised the school just barely suspended the student. Although I understand involving the police (laying charges) will make him a career criminal and ruin his life (being Japan and strict on rules; no second chances), I do think they could've did something more... the school's reputation needs to be kept (keep students incoming, saving face), sure, but... Japanese schools deal with bullying and troubled students way too poorly. Well. It's so old school I'll tolerate it. =__= (Not to say I'm basing this on this episode, this is general knowledge.) Where are the parents in this, hmm? Would be a chance for the mother/family show that they're not terrible and actually care for their son... |

As viewers, we see and understand the whole situation, but the principal doesn't. It makes sense he would want to put the brakes on the team until he understands what's going on. Weighing the risk of not participating in the tournament versus another potential incident, I'd probably make the same decision. If I were Takumi, I'd have a lot of different conflicting emotions that would be difficult to sort out: Anger, hurt, sadness, redemption, perhaps even a little self loathing. (Not that Takumi would though.) But one I wouldn't feel is resentment toward Sawa for telling the coach. Sawa had the conviction to do that, even knowing it may piss off Takumi and lead to the team being suspended or disbanded. But doing it probably stopped the situation from escalating before Takumi ended up destroying his own future by seeking vengeance on Nobunishi. |

| It was a good episode but damn, I did not expect the bullying. Honestly I felt it was just really stupid and an immature way of trying to show superiority against someone who is better, but then again these guys are like 13. It was still really stupid. Nobunishi even admitted that he was behind the violence plus the guy doesn't even like baseball, Now I feel he's just a brat. It was nice of Go to treat Takumi's wound and let him stay the night. Captain seems like the only nice senior in the show. Contrary to what Takumi's grandfather seems to think, Takumi seems to show a real conviction to play baseball. He probably enjoys it but I'm assuming it's mostly related to how strong he is. Perhaps if he faces defeat we might see the side the side of him being unable to enjoy baseball like his grandfather says. It was nice to see the guys defy the school and play baseball :) I understand that the school doesn't want to make it an issue but they should let them play baseball. |

| Whoa, even Takumi didn't deserve getting his ass whooped. Still, it DOES happen a lot in South Korea and Japan (and I'm sure in other countries). Gou is like Takeru's perfect housewife. I also feel really sorry for Kaionji. Takumi has a future in baseball and will probably go pro but I feel like for Kaionji, it'll only stay a hobby. |

Fit in, do as your told, or face unpleasant (that's an understatement) consequences. Frankly, this series delivers more than I expected. Takumi is a real principled guy. Doesn't back down. That's some serious balls. |
