| Megumin not nominated for best female character feels bad man |
| They nailed the best mascots with Tippy and Timothy, the best female category is plagued with bad choices though. Gundam and Macross getting best mecha is good especially Gundam, I like the IBO mecha despite there are no beam weapons in the entire installment, it really upped the creative design. |

| I can't believe trash like Koutetsujou won so many awards, looks like we'll be seeing a second season for sure. Best Female Character Rem (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) At least they didn't make the same mistake on the female characters. |

| Overall very happy with the results. In the series and movies department, the Monogatari Series ( Koyomimonogatari + Kizumonogatari) and JoJo ranked, Shinobu and Araragi are present in the best male (who also had Allen Walker, who made it better) and female characters section, the seiyuus choice were very good in general (especially Matsuoka's presence, since he honestly deserved it after his role in Re: Zero), and Shaft and David Production being picked as best studios makes it even better. My only complaints are two: 1) Takahiro Sakurai should have been picked as one of the Best Male Seiyuus. The guy has been very active this year and has delibered great roles like Rohan Kishibe or Reigen Arataka. I personally think he deserved that position way more than Tasuku Hatanaka (who I guess has been picked due his role as Ikoma, who personally, was pretty meh). 2) I don't think the OST of D. Gray Man Hallow was that great to be ranked, I think it was very unmemorable overall (problem that the previous anime also had). Oh, well, at least that means people still care about D. Gray Man despite the hiatus. |

| I dislike pretty much everything on that list but there isn't much to replace it with which tells me this year was pretty horrible. |

| When were the X-designs and best mascott questions introduced in Newtype's survey? And compared to the late 80s/90s, how relevant did this big poll stay? (was there a big loss of readers for the magazine? etc) This result sheet teached me at least something ! Mikimoto isn't considered the chara-designer of Kabaneri. |

| Best male character Subaru lmao Anyway if this helps make a second season for Kabaneri I'd be glad. I'm very fond of this show even though I'd say it's half-decent at best. |

| So glad to see Gintama doing well. The main character, main heroine and director were in the top 5 for their respective categories. Also happy to see the Free! movie doing well despite it not being as good as S2. I hope Free's new anime project will be a third season.. |
