| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ----------------------------------------  This was another good episode imo. I mean..Mei bought a cat home. She's hiding it in a bag and names it Kuro. Ya, it's not a very original name imo as well considering there's another cat of the same name from Blue Exorcist. I also liked some of her interactions with Yamato. What I didn't like much at first was Yamato's..sister , Nagi. Some of her past is interesting to look at..although she doesn't seem too happy in my perspective. I found Mei and her interactions cute with the little bunny toys. :P |

| Yamato getting cat and learning how to take care of it. To his house for the first time. Introducing his sister, who is not trusting people who are just using her. She doesn't trust Mei, who were like her before meeting Yamato, at first. Yamato gave her rabbit for company. Then there's a chance for Mei and Yamato's sister to get to know more about each other. After getting trust, she gave Mei one of what she made, just like the two cats. |

| Great episode! I even have to say that I've had this particular line of thought in the past before, so I can relate quite easily. But as Mei says, if you close yourself off completely, you'll never meet those few people that you can call true friends. This is why I find it absurd that some people collect friends on Facebook to view as some kind of high score. Like most things like life, quality > quantity. I knew from the beginning when the two cats were staring at each other that they would come to represent how Kurosawa's siter and Mei would be like. "Mei, I bet you thought something weird right now." Weaponized cookie. Mei waving the dolls arms around. ^ Priceless scenes. prismheart said: Mei possesses amazing people skills. You'd be surprised how successful introverts can actually have very good people skills. I lean on the introvert side as well. I can socialize with people well and get along with them. But, I find it mentally exhausting to do this when the people I'm with are co-workers, acquaintances and sometimes, recent friends. I only feel truly at ease with my family or inner circle of close friends, which are very few in number. |

| This Episode was so really cute <3 i really really like it >.< for once the Heroin of the story din't act clumsy xp usually she acts pretty clumsy and it embarrassed me to even watch ,but this time she really pulled it together and i really really liked it :D i really loved this episode it seems that this story is picking up and will get better from now on with this episode i really got my hopes up and now i'm exited for the next episode |
| This episode we saw Mei showing her strength. During the years she spent isolated from other people she actually did observe how they interacted and she has really good intuition for how they actually are feeling inside. Of course since Nagi was in a very similar situation to what she experienced, Mei found it pretty easy to relate to her. |

| I don't know you, but I was extremely upset when Mei dropped the bag with Marshmallow in it when she was in Kurosawa's room and didn't even bother picking him up. The poor thing meowed, for God's sake! Or maybe that's just because I'm way too motherly with my own cat. Anyway. Good episode. |

| So adorable episode! I loved every single minute of it! Other than ignorance shown to the cats, particularly mashmellow. I was like, let that poor thing out already! :( Mei and Yamato moments were priceless but what caught my attention was the level of details in animation. +10 for that alone! You are guaranteed to have an imouto from your boyfriend's in anime lol. It's almost like granted. But it's good to see them acting all grumpy and then making up at the end of the episode. So common in anime, yet so refreshing! The only thing that I found a bit nice that both Nagi and Mei share similar experience. I think that helped Mei to get in to Nagi's good side. :) 5/5. Best episode of the series so far. I might actually bump my overall rating for the series higher at this rate! |

| Being a life long cat owner I've never known a cat that WANTED to come out of its carrier once you took it someplace new. I've always ended up pulling him/her out and closing the door so they wouldn't crawl back in. (once they got over that, it was explore time for sure) Now, I did cringe a little when Mei dropped Marshmellow, but I've watched so many cats fall out of trees, fall off of roofs, balconies, kitchen cabinets, bookshelves, christmas trees, etc, and simply get up and groom them selves (cat's motto: when you do something embarrassing, groom yourself) that I know the two foot drop Marshmellow took was nothing. |

| Would have liked this episode more without the cats :/ I am not a cat person at all, seriously how many animes nowadays have cats? We need some dog love here!! Still, a really heartwarming episode. Definitely makes Mei even more of a fantastic character than she already is. |

| So far this is the only episode I would not rewatch. For starter's the little sister, her story was not sad at all and her excuses....seriously? Her mom should have made her go to school. I'm sure even in Japan if you miss a certain amount of days you fail. And she hasn't been to school in six months and her mom hasn't bother to actually call a doctor or anything? Okay unrealistic right there. Secondly, I don't like how the whole episode was about Mei making nice with yet another shrew. This anime only 13 episodes and I am sure there will be a second season but nothing is is stone right now. This episode to me was a waste. And this kind of episode is so over done. A certain character has to leave all of a sudden and then the two people that don't get along finally get that time to talk and make nice. Come up with something new! Ugh! Hoping for a better episode next week. |

| Great episode! Really loved the introduction of Yamato sis, Nagi. Rather cliche that the sister will warm up to the main protagonist but I really liked it. Roughly expected Nagi to have some friendship trouble and the reason is rather standard. Two best things this ep: Kuro and Nagi!! |

| It was a nice episode and good to see Mei convincing Nagi to make friends and opening up to her. Nagi seemed like a cute sister shame she lost fate in people because some girls where using her like that hopefully Mei convinced her enough to go to school again. Could it be that Kurosawa was attracted to Mei because her situation looked like that of his little sister? Also the cats there usually a little hostile towards each other when they meet for the first time but since they where both in unfamiliar territory and one of them was still a kitten they got along pretty fast. Kurasawa panicking because of the kitten was pretty funny to see. |
