Hello fellow MAL member! :D
Are you a movie addict or maybe just a casual movie viewer? If films, animated or live-action ones are something you like, have you ever wondered about joining a club where you can discuss about your favorite movies with your friends on MAL?
If the above facts catch your interest, come and joinThe Cinema Club! ;)
Hellos, sorry for my late reply. Because I don’t reply to all comments in order some of them tend to get “lost” but I find the unreplied comments eventually that and I’ve been fairly lazy with MAL lately. :P Yeah, dividing the text in more paragraphs it’s easier to read but it was no big deal for me to read it like that.
I’ve actually re-watch the first 2 episodes of After Story and they were kinda boring, the beginning of the show it’s slow truth to be told :P I’m thinking about watching 1 episode of Clannad After Story/ week and I’m also thinking about re-watch Shaman King, a childhood favorite of mine. Thing is I plan on watching a lot of stuff but idk how long it’ll all take me since nowadays I barely watch 1 episode of anime / day. Ping pong was great, I loved the metaphors and background themes (at least the ones I’ve got :P). Yeah the art was “odd” to say the least but there were times, especially while playing ping pong when it worked. I remember the backlash Aku no Hana got because of the animation lol
Nice! I haven’t read manga for months lol. I’ve only watched like the first 2-3 episode of the first season of Noragami when it was airing and dropped it because at that time I was watching a bunch of other shows and Noragami didn’t peaked my interest. Don’t know if I’m gonna pick it up now though, at least not at this time.
From what I’ve heard the manga is still better regarding One Punch Man, I’ve only watched the first ep and it was so all over the place, I don’t even know how many chapters they adapted. But what’s admirable about OPM is that despite the average budget the animation looks great, from what I’ve seen. The reason is because the animators are truly giving their best and try to work with what they’ve got. That’s very admirable imo
I’ve gotta stop procrastinating as well OTL I’m sure that you’ll love reading Vagabond (if you haven’t started reading it already).
In season 3 Piper’s story line seemed secondary to me. But heck I can’t even remember much regarding what happened in season 3.
Hello there OG-3!!! How have you been? Idk if you even remember me because I literally have not logged in to this account in YEARS lol but I'll still say hi anyway! :)
I see, that's nice! I've actually re-watched the first episode of Clannad After Story the other day. I might watch 1 ep/day. I forgot that in the first episode of After Story they play a game of baseball, the episode wasn't that exciting, After Story starts to get "serious" after episode 9 or so if I remember correctly. How's Noragami btw? I should try reading more manga as well, I've been planning on reading Berserk since I've finished the anime which was at least 2 months ago lol.
I think that One Punch Man has 3 episodes out and I've only watched 1 so far. The first episode was alright, waaayy too all over the place imo, I heard they've mixed a bunch of chapters together. However I heard that ep 2 was better with the pacing.
With me is the opposite. If i read more than 10 chapters of something I feel "exhausted" but if it's with anime I could easily cram 5 episodes in a row (which would take me way more than read 10 chapters of a typical 20 pages/chapter manga). But I remember reading the first 90 episodes of Vagabond in one day, that manga is amazing.
I'm watching Oitnb as well, but I thought that season 3 was pretty lackluster as a main story goes and I hate Piper at this point. She's annoying af. Bloodline was great btw!
Lol you weren't really that late :P And don't worry about late replies, they happen, replying in the end is what matters :P
I've watched FMA like 3 years ago and I've absolutely loved it, even though I've probably forgotten like half of the story by now lol. The anime was also very fast paced since they adapted in like 63 episodes (because 1 was filler) like 100 or so manga chapter, each chapter having 40 or so pages. FMA: Brotherhood is truly a shonen of its own level, I'll definitely re-watch it someday :) I loved the ending of the show, it definitely stayed with me.
I haven't watched the first season of Noragami. Was it enjoyable? How's the 2nd season thus far? I've watched the first episode of One Punch Man and I thought it was good but a bit too all over the place for my liking, I'm still looking forward to the new episode. That's cool. I haven't been reading much manga this year tbh. My tablet broke so that kinda stopped me for being in the mood to read manga + I'm being so lazy, the latter reason being the main one :P
Aside from OPM I'm also following this anime about bones (name's too long lol). I'm still waiting to see if there are other promising anime out there. As ongoings go I'm also following Dragon Ball Super and hopefully I'll get up to date with Naruto someday. I'm currently hooked on this TV show called Bloodline. Are you into TV shows?
I really hope that you'll get better soon. Taking medicine is always annoying
Biology is so cool, if I didn't loved so much to draw, I would probably do something like that too ^u^
Hahaha No, snow is something I really want to see, but I never had the opportunity. There is a region in my country that snowed before, but it's such a rare event that was on tv. Is funny that something so normal for you is on news here!
13 degree celcius is freaking cold here! Everyone is already wearing long sleeved shirts with 17 degree celsius (well, not everywhere, but it's pretty common)
My city is an exception, we consider here a cold place. But it doesn't mean people can handle cold like you guys. It would be pretty brutal if suddenly snowed haha
I want to see snow, really .December here is so hot that all the christmas movies don't make any sense Q_Q
Oh, do you have a country in mind? I'm looking forward to do my university abroad too, because my field here isn't really valued. But I know what you're feeling, being in a different country, with a different culture is a big challenge. What scares me the most is the language and cultural barrier.
My english needs to get better (so if I wrote something weird, please tell me)
Sorry for the wall of text D:
Oh well I guess I should say the same (oops). Sorry it took so long uni exams :/...
I'm sorry to hear , are you better now?
Omg I feel EXACTLY the same way about harems ,hi 5 lol . I used to watch the because a lot of popular anime fall in that genre and have a pretty high score, but I never liked the way they portray & treat females . So glad we are on the same page here!
I feel like the combination of slice-of-life & josei is boring me too easily. I can watch slice-of-life & comedy better (Barakamon). Maybe when I get a bit older I might find it more interesting ? :P
I love Kyoto Animation's visuals. Even though I haven't checked a lot of their stuff (I think Clannad& Nichijou only) a lot of their productions are waiting on my list (*cough* a long time now *cough*). Most of their stuff come across as really lightweight to me- meaning that- they don't really have a deep plot and maybe that is the only reason they have been on my list for so long.
No problem haha glad we can rant about things like these. :)
Woah, that's sucks. I don't usually have stomach pains or anything, but when I have, it's horrible! Having it to a length of needing to be hospitalized really looks like a bad thing. I'm glad you're better now, really :)
Do you have to take medication in your routine, or is just this time? I'm kinda used to a routine of taking medications because I'm diabetic haha
Well, I this point I agree with you. Even tough we know it isn't for the rest of our lives there's still the social pressure and the insecurity. Do you already have anything in mind?
Hahaha here is starting to freeze! Ok, probably it isn't the kind of cold that you are used to,because it doesn't even snow in my country. But it's funny to see the difference
I agree that's kinda lonely, especially when you're friend of some seniors. When you see you're the one that's graduating and it's kinda scary because time passes so fast. I know that's kinda cliché to say that, but it's true
The best thing to do is to enjoy the tine you have with your friends and learn a lot. Life outside High School is fun too! hahaha xD
It's okay, don't worry about that, usually I am the one who replies really late haha
Hospital?! Are you alright? What happened?! o_o
Thank you! I'm really glad you like it! To me the tough part is to maintain consistency. I'm kinda lazy, so it's being a challenge to keep showing every week to post something
Oh yeah, I know that feeling. It can be really scary to decide our future, but what makes me relax a little is to think that I can do something different if I want. It isn't wasted time, even if you change to something different in the future. You'll learn things, and that's awesome haha
I finished high School in 2013. It feels like so much time has passed and in at the same time that it didn't ._.
I was going to say "I just finished High School". But then I realized that it wasn't such a recent event hahaha

I've been alright, started college last week.
So I see that you've finished Brotherhood, what did you thought of it ? :)
Any animu you look forward watching this season?
