| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yeah, this was pretty weird especially the style of animation they used for the scenes. A sharp contrast to the regular animation style that was advertised. Also not sure how I feel about the gimmicks they used so far. It's just hard to take everything seriously with these visuals. Then again, it's the first episode...but this was unintentionally amusing on some levels. At least they managed to introduce the main plot and characters so far. Edit: there are two versions. This is the cartoony version for episode 1 that aired today. Regular animation version style is 10/4. Edit 2: Crunchyroll has the regular version up. Both version is exactly the same plot, just different animation in style. |

| The generic standard of seasonal Isekai is finally here, and is new studio Maho Film's 1st of 2 outings this season. EHHH...but wait, what is this chibi picture drama sorta thing? I mean, the narrative doesn't detract from the manga, but it's an unique kind of presentation. I'm sure there's the normal 2D animation version also. (Watching this on Tokyo MX so it feels different). Not sure what to feel of this...but I'm very hesitant of its direction. Quite the amusement though. EDIT: I really need to rewatch the normal animation style, although everything else is the same aside from the cartoon aspects. |

| Just watched the normal version. This was a fine premise, seems like typical isekai anime with lots of girls. Setting is kinda unique thou so maybe we'll get more than regular isekai animes. | A generic isekai that's quite close to rpg games I couldn't feel any seriousness from this episode. The only amusing thing was the weird CG game master with that peculiar way of speaking. I wonder if the seriousness would go up later considering the name of this show. |

| It gets better. The manga is high effort, the rating is really misleading. As this is rumored(?) to be 2-cour, I'm actually quite excited for this. Stick around, it really does get good. |

| I think the mechanics of the game world are pretty unique. The MC isn’t super OP off the rip and actually has to grind to accomplish shit, he’s also in the weakest class. The death mechanic is original too. Idk, despite isekai being my fave genre this didn’t hook me quite yet, I don’t drop anything so we’ll see how it develops over the next few weeks before I make any judgement. Series definitely has potential and the MC being edgy is cool. |

| Isekai world? But, its looks like in game rpg, with survival based mode with a lot of quests? Yotsuya seemed like a brat and most likely a maniac gamer, sorry, a lonely maniac gamer. The game master just hilarious with his appearance and speaking style. But, the game system kinda intrigueing me with the whole 'pyramid level attempt' to get more teams member on it. Even the death on this game kinda interested to knowing better. Was that right? The question part might be fishy. Why they just ask, how to quit the game? Lol. Hell, ofc it won't easily ended up the shitty situations. So, thats it, its happening. The MC obsession kinda understandable. But its still beared some clicheness. I do hope this one held more comedy fantasy, rather turned out to be a cliche Romance-harem-fantasy. So lets see how well the story handled the main theme. Thats it, my first impression. Still, its weird with everything a lot happened in one episode. I need more time to solidified my own thought. But so far, this episode quite entertained me with a little amount of joke they already threw. |

| Kind of dull, if I'm to be brutally honest here. MC true personality coming out at the end was honestly underwhelming but I'm curious to see how he will beat the troll. Speaking of trolls, that was quite the troll earlier xD. Missed it since Ani-One Asia YT uploaded the regular version but I guess those wo watched the other version must've been thinking it's Deca-Dence all over again. |

| Episode 1 gave me Isekai Momma vibes...not good. Bofuri did a similar concept fairly well though. We don't need another edgelord MC...so I hope that is a fakeout...kind of like Joro in Oresuki. |

| It's a mess, the typical angsty dude grinning about fighting and how much greater this is over the real world because he gets to fight. Then it tries to be a comic relief parody for about the next ten minutes (sooooo """original""" of course). Hell, he dies multiple times as a slapstick gag. Except by parody, I mean of course things like "this is exactly like an MMO!" Status screens and all. Hell, they can't even touch items that aren't on their status screen. That's how dedicated to the bit it is. But then they go "if we all die, it's FOR REAL!" with all the angsting and melodramatic wailing over how awful that is. At which point a troll spawns out of nowhere and all injuries are now permanent. One of them gets their hand bitten off and the other eaten, and they just go "Eh, well, whatever. Things happen," and it's back to overreacting goofily. Then he goes off to grind on goblins while the ultra dramatic music kicks back in. Totally AWFUL, the other version of the visuals is probably the most interesting thing it's going to do. |

| Am I the only one who actually loved the MC from the start? I'm so done with OP MC that sacrifices themselves for others. Give me a practical amoral MC for once! Glad to see he didn't go for the "Girl I just met, I'll protect u cause you are useless " route. If they are not useful, ditch them... Looking forward to the next episode and I might take a look at the source material afterwards. |

| uuuh this was ok I guess, not overly impressed by this show so far. Atleast the MC isn't overly overpowered like most Isekai shows these days. It was pretty boring to be honest and I don't say this often as I am normally pretty easily entertained.. I guess I'll continue it for now. |

| I feel kinda meg about this one, the animation/design wasn't all that great, although I watched the cartoony version, I hope the regular animation over at crunchyroll is better. The characters feel generic, and some of the scene progressions felt weird, especially in the start. Looks like the MC might have sort of a anti-hero vibe, interested how's that gonna turn out, although the revealing of his personality was uderwhelming though. Let's see what this anime can bring us. |

| Now here we have this seasons trash isekai as always. Funny setting, kinda hope they are stuck there from now all the way through. Going back and fourth between IRL and this world would just be weird with a bad transaction between the feel of the atmosphere, I wouldn't be able to take anything serious just one bit if that were to happen. |
