It’s true that it’s been a while since I finished Fullmetal Alchemist, so I don’t remember it that well. But I do know it’s excellent and definitely deserves more than an 8 — I think I’ll reconsider my rating.
As for Darwin’s Game, I really enjoyed it. About the animation, I get that it might seem less impressive since it came out in 2019. The anime changes the story a bit compared to the manga, which is actually really good. I gave it an 8 not just for the story but also for the quality of the OSTs — they’re amazing. Like I said, the animation doesn’t really bother me.
That said, Darwin’s Game is really good, but it’s not better than FMAB.
And honestly, I don’t really agree with the rating you gave Darwin’s Game. If you read the manga, you’d understand why the main character is so special.
