i have faith in the TYBW ending!!!!!!

kubo was rushed, as were many mangaka when trying to wrap up their series. its moreso an industry problem with poor working conditions. (doesn't help that he was having health issues)

many new titles this season coming from jump like elusive samurai and also sakamoto days/ dandadan.. its kind of exciting as a long term reader. So far elusive samurai has officially redeemed my opinion of cloverworks as a terrible studio and proved to be peak, (they messed up fate Grand order Babylonia and ever since people been saying clover works should stick to Slice of life romcoms) I had my concerns since it was a battle manga with horses and allat.. and since David productions didn't want to do steel ball run because of that (and did urusei yatsura instead) I was surprised that it was taken up by them.

another interesting but fitting pick is studio saru for dandadan, who did an excellent job with scott pilgrim.. it looks like they have an affinity to doing weird / unorthodox series in general and that just seems to be their brand

Sakamoto's PV/ first look seems very underwhelming and disappointing for such a well reknown source material.. I'm starting to simply just pray that the production quality is secretly S tier.. now I know it is unrealistic to expect EVERY series that is popular to get a good adaptation (look how they massacred my boy kaneki in RE anime) but Sakamoto days is the second best selling manga in jump right now under one piece and it wouldn't be a stretch to say its carrying the magazine with how many breaks oda has been taking.. i would just expect such a coveted and popular manga to be adapted well if that makes sense

Then bro you havent watched tatami galaxy, the speed at which mc talks is you would even miss hitting the pause button 😂💀. And what even is the ecchi is this, it was so downbad and just disgusting to watch.

no worries, i totally get that haha.
true, it would probably more or less be the same thing as season 1, so i don't see that point. especially if they were to bring the mechs back.
just to give you a general idea first; sakadays is more wacky (it's mostly episodic comedy/action-based for the first 30 chapters before evolving into having arcs), doesn't take itself too seriously, some decent worldbuilding, a really fun cast, and has the most creative fight choreography i've seen in animanga. whereas dandadan has it's main premise laid out from the start so you know what the end goal is, it also has some romance-teasing, and it's written by one of fujimoto's assistants, so you know it's bizarre lol.
so i'd say they both deserve a read for how good they are for different reasons, but seeing as how dandadan is still in the middle of an arc (one that has been the slowest-paced so far, might i add), while sakadays just finished one it's most important arcs and is about to start a new arc seemingly soon, i'd say go with sakadays first.
also, dandadan anime's trailer actually looked quite good whereas sakadays trailer wasn't as good as i was hoping, so there's a higher chance that you'd be disappointed with the latter if you went into it blind lol but you can't go wrong with reading either series really.

this is very true, and i'm actually glad there's no more new episodes lol, however i do wonder if ninja kamui would get a second season since i recall reading somewhere that it was a financial success apparently (?)
nice review btw, the point about stealing that one piece impact frame is also hilarious and i still don't understand why they did that. but what i don't understand most of all is how something with Park involved could fumble this hard.
