EXPLANATION
    　

  • Only use anime listed as Magic in the HoF.
    　— MAL used to have a "Magic" tag that was deleted. The HoF listing is an archive of what used to have said tag by the time it was removed.
    　— Note that this challenge is different from the Mahou Shoujo Challenge.


  • Difficulties:
    Easy: 10 items
    Medium: 20 items
    Hard: 30 items
    　— There are extra requirements, you only need to do those required by your difficulty. (added on Aug 16, 2023 *)
    　— No second run (x2) available.


  • Previously completed series aren't allowed except for Easy difficulty the first time through.
    　— Make all previously completed entries in italics.
    　— Series previously started, but not finished, may be used.
    　— Airing can be used, but you must complete the series, so you can only turn-in the challenge after the series has finished airing.

  • Any type is allowed, but must be equal to or longer than 15 minutes (total).
    　— Unless otherwise stated.

  • Your challenge "Starting Date" is the day you post.
    　— Remember that it's required to add the start and end dates to any anime you use for our challenges.

  • You cannot use the same entry more than once across all difficulties.


  • NOTE that this challenge CAN'T OVERLAP with the Mahou Shoujo Challenge.
    　— If you have posted in that challenge, link your post here.


  • This challenge is available in our Hall of Fame as a checklist that will help you complete it.

Aug 16, 2023 — cosmetic update ; clarifications added to some items ; new items added
— item "Watch a Magic and another genre not listed above" was updated to "Watch a Magic anime with another genre, theme, or demographic not listed above" ; item "Watch a Magic anime with a non-alphabet character in the main title" was updated to "Watch a Magic anime with a non-alphanumeric character in the main title"
— items related to the airing year have been updated: "... airing after 2010" to "... airing between 2000 and 2009", added "... airing in 2020 or later"
— the points for each difficulty will be increased by 0.25 (old 0.50/1.25/2.25)

— Remember that to use new items, you have to replace the old item list completely. You can't mix old items with new ones. If you are mid-challenge (working on it), you can keep the old item list. Any new attempt starting today has to use the new item list.
