Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e Kayou

In the distant past, a war between humans and demons brought about widespread chaos and bloodshed. To put an end to this seemingly endless conflict, Demon King Anos Voldigoad willingly sacrificed his life, hoping to be reborn in a peaceful future.

In preparation for their king's return, the demon race created the Demon King Academy, an elite institution tasked with determining Anos' identity when he reawakens. He reincarnates two millennia later, but to his surprise, he soon learns that the level of magic in the world has drastically waned during his absence. Moreover, when he enrolls at the academy to reclaim his rightful title, he finds out that demonkind remembers him differently. His personality, his deeds, and even his legacy are all falsified—masked beneath the name of an impostor. This "lack" of common knowledge renders him the academy's outlier—a misfit never before seen in history.

Despite these drawbacks, Anos remains unfazed. As he sets out to uncover those altering his glorious past, he takes it upon himself to make his descendants recognize that their ruler has finally returned.

I don't have much to say about this anime. It doesn't do anything particularly well, but it doesn't do anything particularly poorly either. It's enjoyable enough to have on in the background while you're doing other things, or if you just want to relax and pass the time. The story isn't bad, it's just cliché and predictable. But this doesn't make it bad; it's just fine. I think the best thing about this anime is that its magic system seems to be a bit less cliché and classic than everything else. It gives you the sense that there is some kind of system or method ... for using magic according to the world's laws.

You will like this anime if:
- You enjoy fantasy anime where the main character is extremely powerful and literally faces no conflict throughout the story.
- You like waifus who are expressionless or have a robotic personality.
- You enjoy friendship stories.
- You want to watch something simple that doesn't make you think too much, but has some spice to keep it from being boring.
- You like analyzing the magic systems in anime and enjoy seeing a creative and somewhat innovative approach to magic.

You will not like this anime if:
- You prefer characters who face complications throughout the story and have to develop and grow.
- You want to watch something interesting and deep that makes you rethink things or that can simply be rated as more than just good.

Realmente tengo poco que decir sobre este anime. No hace nada particularmente bien, pero tampoco hace nada particularmente mal. Es disfrutable como para ponerlo de fondo mientras haces otras cosas, o si simplemente quieres relajarte y pasar el rato. La historia no es mala, solo es cliché y predecible. Pero esto no lo hace malo, simplemente está bien. Creo que lo mejor que tiene este anime es el hecho de que su sistema de magia parece ser un poco menos cliché y clásico que todo lo demás. Te deja la sensación de que existe algún tipo de sistema o forma para utilizar la magia según las leyes del mundo.

Te va a gustar este anime si:
- Te gustan los animes de fantasía donde el protagonista es extremadamente poderoso y literalmente no enfrenta ningún conflicto en toda la historia.

- Quieres ver algo sencillo que no te haga pensar demasiado, pero que tenga algún condimento para no ser aburrido.

Mixed Feelings

TLDR: This is so bad that is funny to watch.

Character 5/10
The characters here would make you go holy fuck this is so bad that is funny. So you have this guy named Anos the main protagonist that is a former Demon King who has been reincarnated. He is so fucking overpowered to the point that he can speak and turns straight towards adulthood after being 2 weeks old. He can also fuck you up and kill you with just his heartbeat alone. You can picture him as Saitama from OPM but has magic that can solve anything. He has everything such as Bitches, power, wealth, ... and you name it but instead, he chose to live as a modest student with overwhelming power. I don't know why but with this overwhelming broken power there are still people in this world that still challenge him to a 1 on 1 fight and somehow most of them are at the academy where he resides. Aside from that other characters are typical shonen cliche characters that aren't very interesting and quite predictable.

Story 4/10
There was once a demon king who had overwhelming power and could gain and control everything in the world. However, one day he decided to settle a promise with a Hero that this Hero will kill him and gain peace throughout the land. And the next time when the demon king reincarnated they will be as friends, not enemies. Until centuries later he was reincarnated. He is so broken upon his reincarnation that he can speak and turns straight into his original form as a 2-week-old baby. He can even fuck some dude up with just his heartbeat alone. To be fair most of the time is all about the demon lord who just wants to have a decent high-school life however upon his world there is much racism and discrimination at where he is. And those who view themselves as a higher class for the demon always decide to cause trouble or challenge him even though he is basically a god.

Animation 7/10
So everything is well animated that's for sure but my god it is funny to watch when the fight scenes drops from 60 fps to 30 fps. That is how the animation looks like. They look well when there isn't any fight but looks like garbage when the fight actually starts.

Conclusion
I won't lie this is funny even though is trying to be serious however most of the time the story is too ridiculous towards the point that is funny such as the Demon king is so strong and everyone knows it. Yet there are still some people in that world still DARES to challenge him. The animation for the most part is not bad but when it comes to the fight it does look downgraded.

This anime really only wasted the time that I wanted it to. I didn't love or hate it.

The characters were decent, but very flat. Sasha seemed like she was going to be an Asuka Langley-type character at first, but just acts really soft and out of character a lot. The rest of the characters just kind of did their job to progress the story.

The soundtrack was really nothing to boast. Fitting at best.

The fight scenes were pretty predictable, because if this guy is actually who he says that he is, he is obviously going to win.

The animation is pretty decent. There were a ... few really cool looking scenes, and not really anything that I didn't like. No heavy CGI, which I'm a big fan of.

But after everything, nothing about this show really stood out to me. I'm probably going to watch season 2 that just came out, but only when I really have nothing better to watch.
