| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ha, the yuri vibes Just kidding. Hotaru and Saya still has a funny relationship going on even in the finale but always still about dagashi. The finale was alright, had a lot bunch of laughs and gimmicky dialogues. I thought the show itself was overall amusing in terms of comedy although adaptation could of been better. Hotaru in a nutshell as always. Oh and can't forget about Saya's bro as well..that silly dude.  |

The bromance was strong between Kokonotsu and and Tou before it got intense a little. Lol at Saya's thought of S&M! Tou saying what Hotaru's wanting to say was funny af! Also, Hotaru should stop wearing white clothes for certain reasons XD. That final scene with Hotaru and Kokonotsu was pretty good. Pretty decent series I guess. Some hit or miss moments, but overall pretty enjoyable. 4/5 |

| Last Episode already? Does this mean the anime "duration" only last until the end of Summer Vacation? So what happen after Summer Vacation? Hotaru give up? Even if Hotaru succeed to persuade Kokonotsu and his father join Hotaru's father company, how long does it take? Aw man, lots and lots of question about this Anime left unanswered. |

| How did I not see this before....Clearly HotaruxSaya has been the obvious OTP lol...All of the interactions this week see awesome and especially the one at the end Even though KonoSuba had this bested, this show was still really funny and the finale was proof of that in every way This deserves a second season imo but as a while I'll give this a 7/10 |
| (sigh) the parts I could follow and the parts that were "important" were two different things (I'll watch again when the subs come out tomorrow). Interesting tie back to the beginning, with Hotaru struggling to open the same candy tin as in the first episode, at the same bus stop I believe. |

| Really great series. Funny as hell, nice nostalgic feeling. I felt like in the middle of 90's again. Younger generation won't understand it. 9/10 Top 3 in this season. An that art. | lol never knew that this would become "yuri" xD was very funny Saya's imagination in this episode. 6/10 a decent anime in my opinion, it have fun moments. The whole low score is because they took out the best jokes of the manga which I really wanted to be animated, also the extended new content is not that great. It would be far better in a smaller format like 10 minutes or 5 per episode. the anime really need more Coconut's dad on air! (his plans with Hotaru were hilarious xD) |

| The information about candies is too overwhelming for me to take in, and I don't really like Hotaru doing things with the candy (other than that oppai ice cream). But I like Saya a lot. So 5/10. |
| Hotaru and Saya... I'm down with that. Also the interaction between Tou and Coconuts and when it got intense was funny. It was a decent series, pretty chill and gave me a lot of laughs. 7/10 |

| Good episode, but not good as an ending. I liked the show, it was funny enough often times and the art was quite good in my opinion. And it had 2 out of 2 best girls. However, sometimes it just felt like a elaborate candy commercial (which it probably actually was) - and there's no way for me to get to try that candy :( And sadly, there was not enough actual development in terms of romance or the plot it set off with so it screams for a continuation, which it probably will never get. Or is there enough manga content left? Many people cried about how many chapters they left out, so there might be. If the sales of the manga rised high enough we might get lucky and get a real closure, but I don't think we will. |

| Lmao, Saya closed her eyes. She was totally ready for it. I really enjoyed watching this show each week. It had such a simple premise with very little drama—just friends hanging out, talking about random stuff, and eating candy. The absurd and suggestive humor, the pop quizzes, and Hotaru's goofiness were always fun. I'd love to see another season. Episode: 5/5 Series: 7/10 |

| What a boring series this was from start to finish. Loads of sweets stuff that went completely over my head and wasn't funny anyway and the unusual decision to focus far more on the generic and boring Saya than the slightly less boring Hotaru. Basically, this entire show felt like a waste of time. 6/10, and definitely the worst show I watched this season. |
| Pretty normal final episode. Felt like any other episode of Dagashi Kashi so it can be considered disappointing and sticking to its roots I guess. Really enjoyed the extra fan service this episode. Specifically the high quality lip service 7/10 |
| Eh, it was pretty ok, funny moments but there was too much Japanese history that honestly I didn't care much, probably the Japanese audience would like it more since they can find those candies there and boast their new knowledge. At least the characters were all pretty likeable. Also, Hotaru is probably the sexiest and most beautiful anime girl that I've seen yet. |

| Kinda expecting that this episode is going to be different. I guess I put my hopes up too high xD Oh well, it was an enjoyable anime. I had fun watching it. Also, the last part when Hotaru mentioned about Kokonotsu opening the lid using a coin. When she said "that's why", I think she was referring to the reason why Hotaru enjoyed so much spending her time visiting the Shikada candy shop frequently. She was interested in Kokonotsu romantically and adored him. This is maybe because of Kokonotsu's ability solving problems related to candies and his potential of becoming the successor of the candy shop. Just my opinion~ Maybe this is me overthinking about it since this is Dagashi Kashi that we're talking about. :D |

| So we got talks of love and popularity in our finale. Plus yuri fantasies, bondage fantasies, and a visible bra. I'm so gonna miss this. XD A rather sweet end to a rather sweet show. Definitely one of the best of the winter anime season. Both Saya and Hotaru were wonderful girls. I loved the slice of life atmosphere that often mingled with the comedy, especially whenever we saw Saya and Coconuts as kids. I'd love if we got more, but I heard this flopped sales wise in Japan so that seems unlikely. Ah well, strong 8/10. :) |
| If that is supposed to be the last episode, then it was a little bit disappointing. Yeah the yuri scene was really funny, but it took Coconuts 8 minutes to tell Hotaru that he is not sure yet. Exeactly like the whole series, teasing, but not telling anything at all, apart from these dagashi, apparently. 7/10 was hoping for more development |

| with that animation, i almost thought this was a hentai show LOL. good finale overall. i enjoy it and like it. overal series was pretty good too. i enjoy it, but not really that much. the comedy was funny but just not too funny. just if they put romance in it, it would be better than this, especially if they put romance between kokonatsu and Saya X3 i will give 8/10 for this show. overall i still enjoy it. animation was great imo. i didn't find anything wrong with it. just an enjoyable SoL show. Fav Character Girl : Saya i was hoping a romance between Saya and Kokonatsu but..... ;_; i guess i will read the manga :D |

| Decent finale, thankfully they kept anime original stuff at minimum and adapted FOUR chapters (in order 65, 64, 68 and 49). Fucking every episode should've been like that. Here is complete list of skipped chapters, maybe scanlations were reactivate someday: 13, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, 23, 26, 30, 31, 33-38, 40, 41, 44, 46, 47, 52, 56, 57,59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 66 and 67. 31 chapters skipped. Also shame that they skipped all 4komas from tankobons like one about Pochi, Hotaru's first love. But it's expected from biased sayashiter director. He skipped so many funny chapters with main duo and Yoh.  |

| I feel like this would have been better if Saya was this lovely side character who appeared once in a while. The show was at its prime with Hotaru+You skits, I wanted more of them. Instead they focused a lot on Saya and Tou, how disappointing 'cause the skits involving them ain't as funny. At its prime, this was 9/10 and at its worst, 6/10. I'm gonna go with 7.5 'cause I got quite biased to it. Wish there was more Hotaru+You, sigh. |

| Well, this anime was kinda different than I had expected it to be, and there was no real consitent plot, except for the underlying "convincing Coconuts to take over the business". Episodic as well. But! This doesn't take away that this was an enjoyable anime where you could just sit back and relax after a hard day of not working. This was something I looked forward to to see every week, and it didn't disappoint. The subtle hints and jokes here and there were a lot of fun. This was more of an anime to get to know Dagashi more than just watching a Comedy, which I didn't really mind. Overall good show. Tou-Kun, Coconuts-Kun, you'll always be popular in our hearts!/5 |

| Phew, glad that that's over. This anime was really boring. The skits weren't funny and the jokes never made me so much as chuckle. Hotaru was annoying but that doesn't mean the other characters were good either. Everyone else was just meh while she was obnoxious. The fan service was stupid and neither ship set sail or even made any progress. Like just say you like each other already, at least then something would've happened. But nothing at all happened in this show from start to finish. I'm going to quickly forget about this anime and the fact that I've ever watched it. 4/10 |
