| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Half the visuals come straight from the first episode of Bake, with some Bake’s soundtrack, and NekoKuro’s OP. At least the ED is new. A bit of new footage that ties along to what happened in bake. Nothing really notable but its a 13 min episode. Same style as the ED of the owarimonogatari. Granted they did recycle lets remember this is a free episode that will just serve as an advertisement for kizu and owari second half that will run throughout the year. Smart marketing but its nothing special to go gaagaa over. |

| Yeah, definitely a lot of reused assets- and the ED does sound and look nice. It's nice to have more monogatari so quickly after the last installment as well. |

| I love how they change the occurrence of the story each season this time its aprill 11 from what i got and thats before a lot of stuff happened like making ammends with shinobu, meeting ononoki etc.. and ofcourse oshino meme is still here i was waiting the whole episode for this favourite punch line.. A great start to the season the first episode made just to inform us the viewers about when the events are happening and going to happen and creating a new angle for the story...gotta love this anime:) |

| It was okay. Nice to see some more Monogatari, even if a lot of the content isn't new. This episode was "Koyomi Stone", so I'm expecting them to do the "arcs" in the same order as the novel. 3/5 |

| As short as the stories in Koyomimonogatari already are, looks like SHAFT plans to cut down on them even more. Must say I'm disappointed a little, but for people who haven't read the stories, these shorts will probably work just fine. That said, it was good to see Meme after so long, although it's just a certain event from Bakemonogatari's timeline. That punchline at the end made this rather short episode worthwhile though. "It’s just concrete!" Effing Araragi. LOL! |

| Wasn't much to this really, but it was still quite fun and enjoyable nevertheless. If nothing else, seeing Meme Oshino again after so long was pretty neat. Also, I never realised how much I liked Neko: Kuro's OP until I heard it again, and I quite like that ED too. |

| Yeah that was okay, though it looked a bit phoned in from Shaft especially with those re-used Bake scenes. The story was short, but fun and I thought the "punchline" was amusing enough too. Hearing the Bake OST here really does give this a similar atmosphere. |

| I wasn't expecting much from a short ONA series but it's at least got proper animation (albeit with some reused footage) and the story was humorous. I can see why this wasn't included in the main series now. |

| Didn't expected that the stone was actually a piece of concrete that Araragi put in his failes shrine, thatw as unexpected xD. I missed Oshino very much, having him returning was really good. Hanekawa's bewbs are 10/10 Funny first episode. I liked the ending, and the opening, though recicled, was fine. |

| Can't expect much from ONA but the animation seems like very sporadic or shaky. At least liked the new ED. |

| Disappointed that there's no new intro song, I was expecting Koyomi's VA would sing something lol. But Perfect Slumbers from Nekomonogatari Kuro is fine as well. I guess they are just going to put on the corresponding intro song for whichever part of the Monogatari series the short arc fits. Ending song is pretty nice. Overall, it's a nice little backstory to the wooden handicraft that Koyomi has done 2 years ago. |

| Not sure if they already animated this and had it in their vault for 7 years, but they did really well in trying to imitate that bake feel since this was around that timeline. Even the lower quality and budget. The "black" cuts still have the recent crumpled paper visual though. One thing for sure I enjoyed in this episode was good old Oshino. |

| Can anyone confirm if i'm right or not, in the ED between Ougi and Nadeko is Hitagi? If yes then she appeared twice with different haircuts which are 2 different arcs and it is kinda strange. |
