| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Some info dumping this episode... Glad to see the plot moving quickly as usual though and it didn't surprise me that Ushio's friends would be willing to listen and help him. Too bad for Ushio though, his transformation is pretty crazy. Really glad to see everyone together this episode though. I think Asako's reaction expresses her deep concern for Ushio even though she doesn't admit it herself at times. |

| I'm just a little bit irked that they really did cut out most of Hyou's appearance here - he's still present thankfully, though he played a bit more of a role in the manga. Other than that it's been fun again - any day with more Asako is a good day. |

| Ushio is starting to become not a monster, but a pimp. Dat harem he has. When the ghost with Kana Hanazawa's voice appeared in from of the girls and told them to combed Ushio hair and they gather in the place when Ushio was in little time I though that the episode will be rushed, thankfully, it's not. I love how characters from previous episodes reappeared in this and are not forgotten, like in Pokemon, even Hyou, a character who I didn't think to see again that earlier. Also that crazy blacksmith guy who was inside Ushio's body left me intrigued. Who the fuck he is?. Looking forward the next episode. |

| These episodes just keep getting more and more intense. I also feel the need to point out that the OST in this episode was really good, it really fit the mood. I thought it was weird that to save Ushio, his harem needs to........comb his hair. | Most underrated anime of this year for sure. Trade places with One Punch Man please. OPM will get to top 50 but not with 3 episodes, that's absurd. Put this one on the top 50 already. |

| i said a few episodes back that this was some harem, but it will be desolved in about an episode or so... the blacksmith's background will be explained in about 3 more episodes if my guess is right... anyhow best episode so far.... can't wait for my best part of this mini arc OTP ftw!! 10/10 |

| The weird robot bits to the beast's voice felt odd. Pacing felt a tad off and rushed, but I can't say I wasn't really into the scenes where they are trying their hardest to hold him down and help him. Action felt intense and in the moment, even though it's just his newly gathered harem trying to comb him. Some minor things off about this episode but it's still on point. 7/10 ep |

| Back in the early days when everyone was clamoring "Monster of the week", I kept telling you that no, the early episodes were important and would have a bearing on what happened later in the series. Now we see that all the girls he rescued are important to the effort to keep the spear from devouring him. It's time to say that "no, this is not a harem romance, so everyone who shouts "HAREM" the first time the girls get together should realize a couple of things:" Reiko already has a boyfriend (or the closest thing to one), the delinquent who took part in the battle against her father; and Mayuko has a lunch date with Tora (who more and more is looking like an ally rather than a villain). There's no doubt that Ushio has impressed some of the girls he's rescued thus far, but I think it's probably just bringing in a little competition for Asakio (I'm not that far ahead in the manga so this is just a guess). We've cut quite a bit out from the manga, but they've been able to accommodate the changes thus far, although there is one arc and five characters that I'm sorry aren't in the picture. |

| I really like how this episode brought all the girls, that Ushio saved, together and it was pretty much Ushio's own harem. xD The method to turning Ushio back to normal seems somewhat cheesy but it honestly makes perfect sense since when he has such long hair while in beast mode. I just love how this anime is making the female characters a lot stronger and putting them to the test to save Ushio, even if it means potentially losing their life. Overall, intense episode and can't wait for next week! 5/5 |

| Ah! Too short once again the episode. The atmosphere was really heating up with all the reversals in the situation, really enjoyable to follow.On the quality of the drawings it seems to be saving a little, but in general it remains however discreet. The plot is still interesting to me, however, that the drama have to wait a whole week for the next episode. Oh well! |

| This is definitely great, the fact that every encounter meant something to have lead to this point just makes this have a grand and epic feeling to it. Saying that every little encounter from both sides with humans and youkai wouldn't be a exaggeration at all. How each event wasn't forgotten and all came together to make quite the powerful rescue mission, that makes sense too for all Ushio has done in a seemingly very long journey already. The founder spirit was an interesting character too. |

| Great adaption of one of my favorite parts of the manga. Admittedly, when I was reading the manga version, I expected all the girls (save maybe teh last one) to be in one episode, but whatever, still effective. |

| Wow this part was so ridiculous and they didn't even finish it which means another episode of ridiculous hair combing... Seriously. I had to pause because I couldn't stop laughing when they said it but it turned out even worse than I imagined. |
