Just your average person, I guess. While it might look otherwise, I'm actually more of a manga than anime person, prefering to read rather than watch since I can set my own pace there (usually faster), not to mention that a lot of stuff that I love will never actually get an anime in the first place.

As far as my interest in the medium goes, I'm available for a wide range of genres. You'll have an easy time selling me on historical, sports, space, mecha, iyashikei and yuri in particular, as those are the genres I enjoy most, but honestly, I'm always willing to try new things as long as it doesn't get too hardcore. Bonus points if the yuri deals with it in a respectful manner, though I don't mind fluff either. Even more bonus points if any of those deals with transgender in a respectful manner (considering that I am a trans woman myself, but I also don't mind reading about the opposite direction), but I'm getting off track here.

I tend to gush about the franchises I really love (though I'm not making a comprehensive list of those - it'd be too long, and takes away the fun of you just asking me for it, so feel free to try and take a chance in that regard), but if you don't mind the ramblings of a fangirl in that regard, don't hesitate to strike up a discussion with me.

Oh, and since I'm speaking about franchises I love - don't take my scores all that seriously (except for the 10s, of course, with Hourou Musuko and Mushishi in particular), because that's where things get messy in my list. My score guidelines changed way too often over the years, so sometimes something that might have been an 8 in the past could be a 4 for me now, or vice versa (Well okay, probably nothing that extreme, but you get the point.). So even if something only has, say, a 7, there's still a chance that it could be something very dear to me (Yuru Yuri and Saki are good examples in that regard).

Other than that, I like to play video games and chess, as well as... well, read. Not only manga, but books. You know, those things some people most likely never touch again after school. Don't really feel like going into details here, so if you want to know the particulars, just ask away.
