| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well that was quite an emotional episode especially with Reiko involved. Poor her, getting shot like that must of hurt but she is handling it well. RIP ;_; It's also shown that Shinichi sees some of her mother in her. Good episode overall. I liked the focus on a more human side for Reiko. And as for Shinchi, he's learning more and more about the investigators. That cliffhanger though.. |

| This was just as saddening as it was in the manga. Why do all the really interesting characters have to die prematurely? First Kana and now Reiko. Sucks :( |
| So finally Uragami appeared.. next serious oppenent. who will likely try to kill Izumi.. Reiko died as good parasyte or even human we can say. |

| Didn't imagine that I would feel this sad seeing Reiko die :/ With she protecting her baby and handing it to Shinichi. Watching her getting shot and Reiko not moving at all... Shinichi being able to cry after him witnessing all of the deaths and blood, good scene! Uragami having the same voice as Tarou! What he did was pretty interesting and his specialty as he reacts to Shinichi. That was quite the look that Uragami gave off, really interested on how the investigators would react. |

| I knew something was up when the ost was play and she was just letting herself get shot but that moment when she hands over the baby and dies it actually made Shinichi cry for the first time since he got the whole in heart it was really touching That prison dude was jerking off once he saw that chick lol |

| Kind of bad pacing. They should have ended with Tamura's death last week. I would had been more shocking that way. |
| Did anyone else cry buckets? that was perfect with the ed ost. Hell, I even started crying again when the credits started to roll. This soundtrack is now the new "in the arms of an angel" song they play during SPCA commercials. Oh, and the prisoner masturbating to the chick, I blushed and covered my mouth like a school girl, even though I'm 27 and in a healthy, sexually active relationship. I still laughed through that scene. OMG, I am so scared for Shinichi right now o.o, *starts looking for a time machine* |

| Damn! The Reiko death scene was so sad :( Really loved his character more and more by the ep T^T The way she was walking toward Shinichi while protecting the baby as she was getting shot was so emotional :( And finally Shinichi was able to shed tears!!! Happy for him :) I was surprised that Gotou was a result of one of her experiments though :O Interesting second half with this Uragami fella. Is he the guy who appeared at the end of the first ep? Anyway, the way he started fapping was so lol XD Shit got real for Shinichi though. How's he gonna get out of this one :P |

| Awesome episode and very emotional...this episode was perfectly done or even might be better than the manga. Reiko was one of the best character in this anime and love the flashback from Shinichi to regain his humanity... |

| This was one hell of an emotional episode, with Reiko protecting her child to the very end like a true human mother would. Just like the anime Shiki, Parasyte does a fantastic job at depicting human emotions in creatures that are seemingly monsters. It begs the question of whether humans are truly in the right, or whether the monsters themselves are actually more human. |

| Poor Reiko she is dead, I guess it's her maternal instinct that had kicked in. Oh boy, looks like Shinichi's secret will be expose, if so, he not only have to deal with them parasytes, but the cops as well. |

| This has to be the first time Parasyte got me to almost shed tears. The show's full of emotions, but this is one of the sadder moments for sure. Tamiya was an amazing character, I got to say. I'm going to miss her a lot. Oooooh this is gonna be good. I remember Uragami from the first episode, I was wondering when he was going to show up again. |

| R.I.P the only good female character in this show. In a lot of ways, her character arc was similar to Meruem from Hunter x Hunter. |

| Damnit! Just when I started liking Reiko, they had to do this. R.I.P.. T_T In the end, she died as a great human mother; protected her baby until the very last moment. That scene was so sad, it even made Shinichi cry. Murano is still stupid though. She saw Shinichi holding a baby in front of a dead woman, surrounded by 9 guys holding guns and thinks "Izumi-kun is back!"? Give me a break girl. >.< Uragami was pretty funny with how he didn't think twice about fapping after seeing that lady! That was a much needed comical relief after Reiko's death. Shinichi is definitely in a pinch now. That was one intense stare at the end there! Great episode. So, Gotou will probably be the final boss? From Reiko's advice, it did seem he could be quite OP! |

| i frickin lost my shit watching this episode. I don't think my tear ducts will ever recover. I like this new character, though. He seems pretty interesting |
