She (along other people like Athena and Ogma) were in the prologue and then went away when the prologue ended, leaving me with Scrubs. Atleast the Whitewings are pretty good (Catria and Palla are my strongest Members, the only ones who can ORKO things xD).
I am still pretty early game, so i am waiting for more units to replace Scrubs.
Decided to take a quick peek at a tier list out of curiosity sake and Palla and Catria are really high up. Cavalier Kris is apparently also really good and so is Feena and Malliessa.
>Marth critted him
All for the good of the country.
>I usually use different classes on different Playthrought. For Example Selena was Pegasi on my 2nd playthrough, now she is a Starlord. Laslow was Merc in first playthrough, while Ninja in 2nd (to get Master Ninja Soleil), Effie General in 1st, now Great Knight, etc...
Makes every Playthrough different ;)
Haven't even used Selena and Laslow and Effie is so stronk as a general that I didn't even consider a GK.
-Marth Lvl8
-Avater-kun Lvl10
->Rest Lvl 1-3 xD
Caeda isn't a thing in NM? In SD she's an absolute monster because of her prf + forging.
>Also, freaking Avater worship man. Worse then Corrin. Atleast Corrin was a Royal. Kris is a normal guy who suddenly became everyone's Love???
Kris is pretty much the most hated MC even more than Corrin. The only reason you don't see it as much is because Fates is localized while NM isn't. That reminds me, on one of reddit's favorite lord strawpolls Kris only ended up having a single vote xD.
> And i was like ''WHAAAAAAAAAT? Why. Your death won't achive anything, Idiot. Let Marth hide you or something <.<''
Yeah, it was so weird. I could understand it if Lorenz and Marth parted on difficult terms in SD FE1 but that was never the case so it just comes off as a weird moment instead.
>There are alot of people who hate reclassing in Fates. I myself love it, as it makes for replayability and customization....
I don't really have a problem with it because I know they balanced it this time around. Personally I only tend to reclass Corrin not most other units.
Cool. I've heard that FE12 is the hardest FE game there is so have a lot of fun xP. Also you'll have to be careful because you can actually get a bad ending in this game if you don't get a certain item.
>Also, Lorenz suiciding makes 0 Sense.
It made even less sense in the snes version. Like wtf just happened here xD?
>archer mov
Don't know about NM but SD has some very weird mov stats for certain classes.

>Somehow, i hate this reclassing system. Just rubs me off the wrong way. Especially when people complain about Fates' reclass. Atleast Fates reclass is limited and costs resources. In SD/NM you can just reclass like that...
Didn't know there was a big problem with reclassing in Fates. Awakening I understand because reclassing straight out breaks the game but I didn't know about fates.
OH NO!
You know I've started going through my handheld FE games that I own and it's been interesting so far. Right now I've started going through SD and took a break and started BR and stopped.
SD isn't soooo bad if you know that it's a game with STR and you use good units only. I mean playing around with reclassing can even be quite some fun. It's still not a great game but after having started BR I can't call it average anymore because at least it didn't bore me.
Yeah speaking of BR. God, that game is boring. It's full of boring chapters/maps and most units aren't even fun to use. It's still better than Revelations but revelations is the worst FE game there is so that's not saying much. So yeah I dropped BR I guess. Honestly makes me wonder why I ever bothered getting the special edition and not just CQ because god knows that's the only good thing Fates has to offer...I guess It'll be worth something later :p.
Also just randomly thought about this...have you played F/HA? Or were you waiting till there was a voice patch?
Maybe limited wasn't the right word but I sure as hell didn't have a lot of lee way by the end of the game.
>Cool Track.
Here's what i stumbled on while watching videos today

TL can'T come fast enough
I'm honestly genuinely hyped for this game. Hell I'm more hyped for VS than FE16 although I partly blame that on the fact that we get no news at all.
Still don't really like that because it makes it feel like the staves are only to be used against other staff units. Also AI units can have as many units spawn in with staves at one point of a map while we only have a limited amount.
>also
Nice, already heard found that one a while ago but it's a good one. I love the combo ost.
Speaking about awesome ost's, I know we both don't play FGO but I happened to stumble on this ost after listening to some of the VN ost and damn does it sound nice:

In that case I think they were trying to balance Axes/Lances simply because of javelins and hand axes but went really overboard?
>Was never really a problem as you said. Tbh, what i did is usually let my op units rest (like Asbel, for example), unless i really need em. And the game usually gave us an easy chapter after a few tough ones where you can just let your stronger units reast while your weaker units take care of that. Also, Indoor maps the majority of Horsies will have to rest anyway.
Exactly. When I went in Thracia I expected the fatigue mechanic to be so much scarier then it ended up being.
>It was only a problem early game really (as i said in the thread, i had Safy missing ~20 heals in ch3), and the game gives a solution to that in form of Opernary (they heal all HP in T776), so you can work around. Once you hit Midgame, most your staffers (except Tina) will have 10+Skl anyway, meaning they pass the 60 + 4*Skl (Hit formula for Staves in T776) treshhold.
The game does have some annoying mechanic, but it gives us a way to deal with them/work around em, so it isn't that bad, usually.
Yup. Nothing to add really and good point about the vulneraries. Those are really good in Thracia.
>The real problem with staves was how imba they were. Map wide range and status that never run out is pretty damn op. In player's and Enemy's hands.
On the one hand how OP the staves are as a one game experiment but then you also come to realize that enemies can do the same OP BS on your units and the last few chapters in the game become so much harder because of enemies using staves.
>Tbh, i miss dismounting in other games, since i also used it in outdoor maps to let fliers escape bows, Horsies escape horseslayers, etc..
I just loved to send Karin to Ballista, dismount her, and watch the bows never hit her (due to swords having lower WT, she had higher avo when dismounted haha)
Haha I did something similar in chapter 11. My Karin wasn't trained though so she ended up captured and almost taken away xD. But yeah dismounting is cool and I would love to see it back in the next FE assuming they balance it just right because god knows Paladins don't need to be even better.
Exactly. I don't think you need to complete a game to fully judge it (unless there's some big change but that's only in the minority of games) but come one in case of a FE game at least give the game a few chapters before judging it.
>They don't have to force themselves to finish something they don't like (i don't think i will ever finish FE6 or 7 for example, the few chapter i played were just a massive turn off + i just miss so many things that are in the other games), but a testtasting is order before saying anything.
Yup yup. That's why I don't judge games that I haven't played that have bad stuff in it. You told me that FE6 Axes have bad hit rates and I've also heard that on other places but since I haven't played the game I would never actually say that of the game in a FE critique thread.
For that matter. Fatigue, staves and dismounting really weren't that big of a problem.
Fatigue isn't an issue if you keep checking your units fatigue stat every chapter.
Staves missing isn't that big of an issue unless your name is Tina.
Dismounting again can also be balanced around by controlling fatigue and using mounted units when inside and not using inside (well duh)
> dat ending tho
Barely remember it, has been time since I've played it, but I remember it being really great, I'm on the middle of a run on that game since I bought it on GoG (it included first game and some extra content)
>That's almost impossible, ya know? xD
Hahaha that's true.
I've seen these Tales of games, I have Symphonia on Steam.
I'll list this games, thanks for the recs tho :D
That reminds me, in every poll /a/ did around the time before and after UBW aired that asked what the favorite route was the answer was almost always something along the line of:
10% Fate
45% UBW
45% HF
As far as I know that's the case in most places.
And god I'm not a big fan of people judging a game that they haven't played, you?
I remember finishing the VN and reading discussions afterwards thinking "Wow, people actually care about the romance that much?"
To me the best FSN moments were when Illy/Kirei/Archer were on screen. I mean Shirou is also great but he's 99% of the time on screen.
Yeah I'm actually cheering for her this time around.
>The Vn gave us meme cooking scenes.
Oh god don't remind me. Fate has the same issue where after dealing with Berserker the game just SOL's for a days or two I think. That's the best thing about UBW. Once the route gets going it keeps going and doesn't take breaks.
True but I sort of expected that the day we learned that it wasn't going to be a 24 episodes anime and movies instead.
>I liked the Extra Sakura Scenes though.
Me too! I don't know if it's because it's been a long time since I've read the VN but I really quite liked her in the movie. I also was oddly happy to see her get her spotlight because of how serious her VA was. I remember her crying when HF was announced a few years ago.
