Right, I do remember something like that but I think they arrived later? At least I don't remember the children being in danger.

That's actually a pretty cool idea but they'd have to balance it carefully. Can't make it so that the next chapter becomes a ton harder (without the weapon)/a cackewalk (with the weapon) after you get it.

This could be easily fixed if IS just made a game great gameplay and story.
Though I have to say that art and presentation also became more important to me after I've played Jugdral/Tellius.
I didn't mind that. If anything it shows how much attention to detail there is. You can play FE5 after FE4 without the time line/order of events getting screwed up.

I've played SD and even worse Awakening so STR in Thracia honestly doesn't bother me since most of the time it makes sense and in the case of Saias I still had Linoan with her restore staff although I don't think the problem in that map is Saias himself but the way the sleep staff destroys any unit instead of just putting them to sleep for a few turns. I mean Saias is already scary enough without the staff.

There was STR in ch 11x? I honestly don't remember, I just got Fred to Olwen asap and kept them close to the door to join up with Leif.

>-Dismounting: Cool, but swordlock is ehhhhh. What Tellius did (giving em -Mov when indoors, not able to climb, etc) was enough. Stat loss is also ok. But having only Swords inside (+ 2 Axe units) is too much for me.
I kind of like the idea of dismounting but yeah they need to change it in some ways if they were to bring it back.

This one I can't agree with. My Ike in PoR was in more mortal danger in the chapter before his promotion than Leif was in his.

You can still buy weapons and from what I remember you did a lot of arena but yeah capturing is a lot of fun and I would love to see it back but I know that wouldn't happen because now that weapons don't break there's not a lot of reason to do so.
>Not fan of the uniformal Low caps. not much the low thing as much as the uniformal thing. Everything capping at 20 is kinde eh..., makes units feel seemy. I prever the variable caps (which depend on Character and Class) that pretty much every other FE has.
Kind of neutral on this one but I do think there's quite some character with some units. Sara is the best est that has ever est, Mareeta has great growths that in the long run make her better than Shiva + her sword and meteor skill. Othin and Asvel have Prfs.

I don't disagree but I did like how some characters had there own promotions. Machua became a hero, Asvel a sage. Character didn't follow a set path which was cool.

I always had the impression that Arvis didn't know of Saias AND that Aida kept him secret from him so eh it still works.

Oh god. Be sure to warp Leif in the boss room and kill the boss in 24x and keep him there. Also, recruit Galzus, he's really good.
There's not much that surprises me but there's still some interesting stuff. Eirika is super polite while Ephraim almost never talks politely. Same goes for Ike, and Chrom only talks nice when he has to and apparently Hector has almost bandit like speech xD.
The saddest thing though is that I learned that the ever formal and polite lord Sigurd goes all KISAMA against Arvis before he gets rekt. Really makes it seem like he mentally gave up.

Even when you think you know everything about FE4 and can't get sadder someone has to come around and tell this :p. The part about Leif and Seliph is also pretty cool.

Yeah, warping is actually great and goddamn I wish I warped ch. 21 because that chapter was ballista hell.
I didn't have to deal with him because I killed him on 16a.

Haha, I honestly just tailed it straight out of there while giving Leif a lot of kills but I do remember there being a lot of good loot.

My Ralph still died in this chapter but I honestly didn't mind because it fit well with the chapter.
