Yeah, if one is used to a dubbed version it can be hard to get used to the original. I understand that.
For me, Yugioh comes to mind. I just can't enjoy the original version of Duel Monsters.
The 4kids soundtrack, voices (both from Serbian and English version) are what I grew up with, and rewatched into oblivion.
Why does Yugi yell so much and sound so aggressive in the JP version xD. I like the raspy voiced one from Season Zero a lot more.
I watched S4 of GX in Japanese, no problem. I love 5Ds Japanese version more, but I like the dubbed version as well.

Fun fact: Serbian version has an error where they used a bad take of the line, where after that blue haired chick confesses to Jack, his voice actor basically says F*** YOU and laughs. This wasn't supposed to be used, but they didn't notice. I have it on VHS when it aired circa 2010, but also recorded on DVD from 2019 or 2020 when another channel replayed the show xD.

Back to Digimon. Tamers dub is nice, I liked it. Wasn't too goofy, but had some good jokes. Felt kinda like 90s Spiderman TAS.
Frontier I've only seen the first episode in English, beacuse when I pirated it from Megaupload as child I didn't notice I downloaded the wrong version of that one.
Savers, seen some evolution clips on youtube only.

Adventure, I tried, seen several episodes and clips, but it was too cringy for me at the time.
I grew to like those jokes, even though it changes the mood of the show. Kinda feels like an Abridged series.
I will watch one day fully probably.

Serbia dubbed Season 1 twice by two different studios, both based on Japanese version of the show.
Same with Zero Two.

I watched Digimon the Movie, Croatian dub, based on the english version. I like that movie, beacuse just like the Tamers dub, it's funny but not too goofy.
I like the soundtrack, and how almost seamlessly they combined the first three OVAs. I honestly though as a kid that americans made it, because of the FOX logo, plot taking place in America, and animation looking different.
This was my also first encounter with the season 2 cast, since I didn't have the chance to see s2 until 2009.

The only other season that got dubbed here is Fusion aka Xros wars, but this one was dubbed from the English version.

I rewatched tamers last year. I just don't login here often, or get around editing the list. It doesn't feel as important to maintain as it did ten years ago. It was my first time watching the english dub of it.
Yeah, I love Frontier. I watched it after adventure and zero two.
I've caught it on cable on German RTL 2, even though I don't speak the language.
Still have episodes of it, and savers recorded on VHS.

Year later when I got the internet I watched it with in japanese, with english subs.
All seasons 2-5 kinda follow the same schematic and tempo based on the original adventure anime.
Soundtrack is similar, opening, ending, and evolution songs have a similar feeling to each other.

Differences are slight, they all try to do things a bit different than the last season, and explore new ways to portray things, and also add new evolution and power dynamic gimmicks.

I think most people who were still digimon fans at that point acctually liked frontier, but just a few loud "babies" made a fuss over the kids becoming digimon, and the concept of partners being lost, as something essential to any Digimon series.

It's my second fav season, and one of my favourite shows ever, I rewatched it to extinction xD

Sure dude, digi-on!!
Obito_Uchiha00 Sep 6, 8:15 AM
I have seen that you were watching hanma, is it good because Netflix is recommending it to me too much.
HollowIchigo58 Sep 5, 6:19 PM
Nice and thanks.
Obito_Uchiha00 Sep 5, 6:22 AM
Brother i have a question. You have watched attack on titan, right? I have watched it completely but there's only one thing I don't understand. It is about titan war. How in first place it got initiated?, Why those people hate eren's people. I didn't watch these episodes carefully so i missed a lot of information and now I don't know which episodes they were so if you can help me with all of this then it will be great.
Obito_Uchiha00 Sep 4, 1:18 PM
I see, so there is a feature which can tell you about upcoming seasons. I didn't know about it because i have Hardly spend a month on MAL and in this particular time period, no new season of anime that i watched is released or announced. It's good to have this feature. So from your point of view, i think you like action series more.
Obito_Uchiha00 Sep 4, 11:38 AM
That's why i don't read manga but still got huge spoilers about big shows like demon slayer, jujutsu kaisen. I think this app should have some sort of feature which can recommend animes based on our liking like Netflix do and one more feature which can tell us about news of animes which we have already watched, like thier new season release date etc. It's really difficult to remain up to date on so much animes. I have watched 87 animes and have 100+ on PTW, so it's very difficult to know about a particular anime. And being said, have you watched violet evergarden series?
Obito_Uchiha00 Sep 4, 2:13 AM
Ok, i will add them in PTW. I think you should watch I want to eat your pancreas movie because it's a masterpiece despite it's sad ending. I get my mostly anime recommendations from TikTok or Instagram so you can say that mostly main plot of anime is already spoiled and i cannot enjoy them fully. I am thank ful for your recommendation. I will surely watch them
Obito_Uchiha00 Sep 3, 10:34 AM
Yes, you can say i have watched a lot in 5 months. This journey started from watching movies like your name, i want to eat your pancreas and other romantic movies. I really loved them and remained depressed for a week after watching i want to eat your pancreas. Then i thought to start watching series and started from death note and completed it in 2 days. I started to really love anime and before i knew it i was watching anime till late at night and whole day. I was watching naruto one season daily because of free time in summer vacations. That's why i have watched too many series because i stick to them and try to complete them quickly.
Obito_Uchiha00 Sep 3, 9:07 AM
I didn't watch boruto for long time. I only watched his 7 to 8 episodes and then dropped it. But i am thinking to give it a fair amount of time but after watching some other animes. I am watching anime for about 5 months.
Obito_Uchiha00 Sep 3, 8:41 AM
Nice to meet you to. i also like obito and itachi for their sacrifices. I was just wandering through a post of naruto and found your comment on their and i am new in anime world so i had no friends here. So i decided to add some friends so we can talk about anime stuff and thus send you a friend request. But i think boruto has not the same strength as naruto. It's not same as naruto nor fully new experience but it is still watchable. What do you think?
Cap_Matthews Aug 26, 8:50 AM
No other manga held me for so long as Crows.

The characters are very silly, the fights are well drawn, directed, and some of them have a good dose of comedy, which is one of the strong points of the title, not to mention the plot twist of some characters, who before, were evil and then start to fight on the good side,
which shows not all of the villains there were bad guys.
Crows have some plot twists and most of them, got me surprised me a lot.

I read some other mangas and watched other shonen animes, but no other caught my interest in looking for everything about the universe of the manga, the characters, the authors, etc... ( EXCEPT HOKUTO NO KEN of course ) Even tried to read other titles with the same theme like Worst, High & Low and Clover, but none of them can deliver the same emotions.

Still 10/10, true classic imo.

My bad for the late respone, i really liked to write a lot more about Crows, but I've only mentioned a few things among many others that I found most interesting.

And unfortunately, I don't have the same time I used to have to visit MAL and discuss about anime/manga!

its cus i prefer short films over television
dont pedestal big listers
FlyingDunsparce Aug 9, 8:21 AM
Only really if it's my only option of watching it. Which tends to be the case with obscure things like this.
If it's available to stream online I almost never download anime unless I want to have it ready for offline viewing *cough* DBZ *cough*
It’s time to ditch the text file.
