Ayy but you're almost done though. You'll soon be rolling in the dough, and then the bitches. (wink)

I've been alright. Some high and lows, but it's all gucci.

You always did seem a little too productive for a site like this.

Yeah, and I don't think things are going to get any better. Have you ever just been so disenchanted that nothing excites you and you're tired all the time? I've felt that way for about 10 years. The positive thoughts are much appreciated and I'll do my best. Rooting for you too, buddy. I'm a stock clerk at a rather upscale grocery store so I unload trucks, stock shelves, assist customers with finding what they need, and level products that aren't at the front. It's very physical stuff, but it's honest work and it distracts me from the bad thoughts, ya know? I recall you mentioning the restaurant life being a pain. Do you have anything lined up for life after graduation?

You could say that. Airing anime has been bland and boring for months now and even my back list has been underwhelming. Only thing I've been watching in the last ~4 months is Erased. I've been enjoying Rocket League more lately. It's lit.

I've been reading the manga since I finished the show, and there's nothing you're currently missing out on. I think the show ends around chapter 45-ish? or 50. I forget and lazy to check. Im up to 55 now and the really surprising thing is there's much more vulgarity in language in the manga. Im still 50 chapters behind. I'll be shocked if nothing happens from now till then.

Sunday without God was the first anything, I think, that I gave a 1 score. The show wasn't held to high regard, but no one said it was literal trash. It's exactly what it is though. The entire show was a directionless mess that followed the most [REDACTED] kid I've seen in an anime outside of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. I would've thought the first thing I'd bash the show for was the shitty use of religion in the show, but that's probably the only thing it did decent! It was very original and I was surprised that they made God the bringer of life AND death and not have some sort of grim reaper character control the latter part. Then you have these random souls who are the only ones to put people to rest, and they're also being killed off by a million dead man tribe. That's not bad, but the way it was executed was done horribly with Ai and I don't think it would've gone any better. The show regressed with her while it tried to progress in terms of just being somewhere with her. The ending, whatever it may be, can't be good at all if it can't be built up properly.

Huh. I don't think I've got anything on tabs for the spring season. I've got a few summer shows I'll definitely be watching, but I guess nothing Spring. Don't have time to find anything either. Hopefully some people will say some good shows so I can just pick up there `-`.

Yea, hated her guts but if it wasn't for Kent pushing Kazehaya and Kurumi pushing Sawako then I'm pretty sure none of that shit would get done. Aside from the story, excluding S2 I loved the OP and ED (both music and animation) as well as all of the animation style from Sawako's reactions to scene setters. The studio did an amazing job at capturing an impactful duality to emphasize certain scenes and emotions. I specifically remember one scene when Sawako was talking about how she made a wall between the two, and just as you have it in a previous scene she flashes back to there she was with Kazehaya to her right but separated distinctly by a non-barrier piece in the middle that was just obvious enough to show that metaphorical wall. That shit was littered in the entire series and it's rarely something seen in anime nowadays and more so made to be in movies.

GL o7. Though, I think what could possibly be in my PTW list that's as good as Kimi ni Todoke and after watching Sunday without God (which was in my list for the past year) it was so horrible I had to purge my entire PTW list and it dropped from 126 to about 44 shows. Maybe the 44 shows will be good enough? :x

No kidding. I haven't heard from you in a literal coon's age.

I've been falling apart for awhile now. I mostly just work and listen to depressing music these days. How have you been, homie?
Robokiller87 Mar 11, 2016 3:15 PM
The closest thing I've seen to Kimi ni Todoke, though it isn't as good has to be Ore Monogatari. Kimi ni Todoke was though a far better romance than my top two, being Ore + Clannad (even though Clannad was more of a drama). I never expected that I put off such an amazing romance for at least 1.5 years since it was on my PTW list. That chocolate scene made me start questioning the show and where I thought it'd 180... me being like "Oh, what the hell is this show trying to do? Is it obviously trying to piss off the audience like it was with Kurumi and later on with Kent?" Should've at least expected it since she couldn't also give him the winter hat during winter either. I dont think that the show ending w/ them finally being a couple would've been good, but she giving him the chocolate and hat was spot on the most suspense breaking words are escaping me shit out there.

Oh so you're that far? Seeing as you're not intrigued by something else atm you seem to be somewhat early in the Chimera ant arc. It's the next best arc compared to Yorknew, so you'll have a fantastic time w/ that.
