I applaud the person who came up with the concept. It was finally an episode that only this show could pull off, and it came out pretty rad.

What a terrifyingly fascinating capsule toy machine; brings back the things from a person's past while making them age simultaneously!

Good one this week as well. Moral of the story: "Don't dwell in the past for long."

^Exactly. And that's a pretty good moral.
One of the most important lessons in life.

I liked this episode. Much, much better than the previous one.

The best this season, followed by the locker episode. Really creepy.

Fuuu this opening wasn't as good as the others... It seems like the guy that tells the stories was too fast, it's not cool, I really liked the normal opening :c

Nice episode.

Surprised so many ppl liked this episode... Hard for me to relate to this concept. I guess there is nothing for me to dwell on in the past, and I probably won't even recognize the object if I played that capsule machine.

Well done, Yami Shibai. Maybe not the scariest, but it was a good story, and it was kind of creepy. A major step from last week nonsense

Tricky not scary. Need more scary episodes.

Also guys I've found a manga that has a similar style to this anime: Fuan no Tane. They're all short stories too and only range from 1-5+ pages per chapter so it's not a hassle to read them. Give it a try.

Edit: There's also a sequel Fuan no Tane +

Nice idea and message, but when I started watching this show, I expeceted something scary. I cant help but dislike this episode, even though it had a neat concept. Not scary at all.

This was the first episode where I wasn't scared even while waiting to be scared. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. It was very Twilight Zone-y. Not as good as the Twilight Zone, though.

so i guess we wont be getting horror scenes anymore, solely psychological concepts, which sometimes can be scary!

Only so much you can do in a few minutes.

The other moral could be "curiosity killed the cat".

The idea of being able to see what you once lost usually never happens. This capsule machine lets you see that you have lost but of course it comes price. The fact that the machine uses its victims at bait is amazing. One of my top 3 favorite episode in the series so far

I absolutely loved the concept of this episode. The idea of being so caught up with one's past and regrets that one cannot let it go. One can obsess over it and before you know it your entire life has passed you by anf you're left with nothing and no time to change the thinglish that got you to this in the first place.

The never-ending cycle of mid-life crisis salarymen feeding on nostalgia continues on~

Interesting. I wonder what I'd end up getting from that machine (aside from the pointless stuff I forget where I put) coz I forgot what precious stuff I've lost due ta crippling depression.

finally a good episode very well made 9/10 Just the idea that they toy capsule gives you toys of things you lost and in return takes away your life force so by the end you are literally drained out wow. And so the cycle continues huh, i like how MC saw that old man and then became the old man himself and bystander was looking at him the same he was looking at that old man in the beginning.

So that thing shows you things from your childhood memories and makes you old gradually fast in the process, not exactly "scary" but certainly an idea.

I think the bodies are somehow absorbed by the machine cause I think that's how the machine has unlimited supplies of miniature memories.
