| The animation and music never fails to impress me with this show. Rewinded a few times to watch all that sakuga :) Shiratorizawa seems like they didn't prepare for Karasuno nearly as much as Karasuno did for them. I guess they're already looking at nationals. They're gonna regret that decision by the end of this season though 😋 |

| Nishinoya was so frikkin' cool in this episode. Tsukishima too but he's so cool all the time that it doesn't matter, lol. I can't imagine someone like Ushijima or anyone with similar characteristics in real life. Then again, I can't imagine anyone who takes any sport seriously without life interfering. I was part of several sports teams back in middle, high school and even college but never encountered anyone like them. Even on the boys team most of them were just fooling around. They'd get upset and sometimes even cry when they lost but then again, nobody likes losing. This is probably why I enjoy watching sport Anime, even though some of them are overly dramatic, I love how dedicated the characters seem. |

| CRAZY, CRAZY, CRAZY!!! This reminds me so much of my middle school days playing volley ball!! I am reliving the tension and determination I felt back in the 8th grade fighting for victory with my team!!! I never thought a sports anime would move me emotionally, but I was almost crying halfway through the episode! There's no feeling like that of facing an opponent that towers above you in skill, power, and agility. It's SO crazy when you go against people like that in sports and this season is doing so well of depicting that. I was really worried about Tsuki's jammed finger. That shit hurts. I messed my thumb up playing volleyball too and even though it was years ago, it's still never really healed the same. Way to go Nishinoya actually picking up those powerful serves and spikes!! Homeboy just goes to show in the face of peril you NEVER GIVE UP! Woo hoo!!! Can't wait to watch the rest of this season!! |

| Oh look, it's volleyball Hisoka Tendou is easily the most interesting guy on team Shiratorizawa- the rest are forgettable or boring at best imo. But hey, they've got the rest of the season to shine, I guess. I'm just used to the other teams having instantly likeable or charismatic characters like Kuroo, Oikawa, Kenma, Bokuto & Terushima. The character who really shone this episode was Tsukki...we even had some internal monologue from him about his own feelings of inadequacy. This stuff with blocking Ushijima has been brewing for a while. You can do it Tsukki!!! |

| Damn Ushiwaka and Shiratorizawa are just breezing through. Ushiwaka is really living up to his name as one of the best spikers in the country around his age. So the first set goes to Shiratorizawa. Let's hope Karasuno can take the next one! It looks like the next episode is dedicated to Tendo. He is definitely an interesting character. |

| once i knew this is gonna be 5 sets much, i thought this is gonna use the entire season, but they are already past the first set? karasuno isn't at a good point. the strategy of keep attacking sound good at paper, but i don't think it's gonna be easy as that. that player (tendo) at the end blocked hinata's playing pretty easily. |
| Ushiwaka is too much of a beast. But I bet he doesn’t have as much stamina as Hinata. The red haired guy looks like the guy from My Hero. |
