| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well that was pretty generic, even from the start when Fuuka meets the MC. Panty shot after getting bumped and getting bitch slapped.. Surprisingly good OP song (at least I think it kinda works) for this show. There's some drama already between Yuu and Fuuka. Expecting this to be rushed from here regarding the storytelling. Average start, although the animation quality is okay so far. Yuuuuuuuu-kun. She must of been exhausted from yelling that |

| That was an okay start. I wish they hadn't cut some of the interactions between Fuuka and Makoto that were in the manga. Like the scene where they're talking about phones and CD players. It was brief, and seemed inconsequential, but it helped show their bond forming. The Usamune Strap meetup happened too soon. Regarding the fanservice, I have no objections. It's supplement that you can either enjoy or ignore. This is an ecchi, after all. 4/5 |

This is the second cliche opening episode I've seen this season; hope there won't be more. I'll be honest I didn't even notice the Ecchi tag so my criticism of it is unnecessary, but yes, quite cliche so far and seems a bit like one of those self-insert anime where otakus would love to be in the place of the MC. I will admit that the idea of the MC himself is unique and interesting (the idea he has a large following on Twitter and is constantly on his smartphone) , and the opening is pretty good. Eh, I'll see how it goes. |

| Not a bad start whatsover....I'm not familiar with this series at all but I know about a certain event already though Either way, this series was fun and I like Fuuka and the main dude so I'm looking forward to watching more of it...The visuals were really good too and I love the OP |

| Good. As a manga reader, I'm quite satisfied. I hope that they will keep pacing like this. | Other than the opening scene where Fuuka breaks You's phone, and the bit where they keep missing each other at the Hachiko statue, this was a solid and enjoyable opening episode that has already made me very interested in the characters and everything else. At the very least, neither of these two protagonists annoy me anywhere near as much as Suzuka and Yamato did, so that's a very good thing. Don't care for the OP too much, but I love the ED song. |

| I think it was pretty good opening, feels really different from manga, but strange watching them together knowing what's going to happen. Pretty sure that there wasn't poster of Half&Half and the straps were different, even if it was quite a long time ago was very noticeable and interesting changes. Correction there was a poster, forgetting so much stuff ... Well the first impression is that i liked it more than i expected so let's see how's the 2nd episode. |

But, as someone else said, if you think of this first arc as a brief introduction to the actual story, the pacing makes a little more sense. |
| A decent start I'd say. It seems to hit a lot of cliches, as he has a hot mom and older sister, and a cute younger sister. I do think the story has potential, a free spirit like Fuuka opening up the world around the MC. The whole obsessed with your phone thing is so prevalent in today's age, so I'd like to see how this turns out. Previous posts in this thread have me worried though. Fuuka is a pretty cute chick. |

| Well I never really liked Suzuka all that much so I went into this with pretty average expectations but I must say that I quite liked this. I like Fuuka (character) way more than I liked Suzuka. xD I can't believe they didn't find each other when they were right there though. :3 That Fuuka shout though. xD I've also heard about this truck thing. I'll wait and see :P |

| An okay first episode. The animation and sound is nice. I'm digging the OP, not so much the ED. I cringed when Fuuka and Yuu meet each other. She broke his phone and slapped him. By the end of the episode, I kind of like her now. I face-palmed when they were trying to look for each other. |

| I remember enjoying the first 20 or so chapters of this before someone spoiled me on what happened to Fuuka, after that i didnt wanna read anymore But i liked the first episode, and with the pace they are going, i have hopes that maybe we wont get that far into the story. |

| Well this is fresh too! Likable introduction, good use of tropes and so on. No bitchy obstinacy and lack of progress... I might have to push forward my plan to watch Suzuka because of this... Mod Edit: Removed reference to removed post. |
