Which Farmagia doesn’t seem to fall under to my knowledge. So I wouldn’t hold my breath. |

| I'm a bit perplexed. I noticed that the Hibike Euphonium dub has landed on the high seas but isn't available to legally stream anywhere. After searching it looks like Crunchyroll did the dub, but it's only been released on Blu-ray so far (unless the dub is only available in some countries that don't include the UK, which is possible). Is this usual, and why haven't they made it available to stream, or are they holding back the streaming release date in the hope of enticing more people to buy the blu-ray first? Also, been checking every day for the next One Piece dub batch to land (eps 1097-1108), but nothing yet. Will it be landing in December or might they hold back until January 2025? |

In regards to One Piece, if it follows a similar pattern to previous years, then there should be a batch coming up for the holidays next week. It's even possible that they release a batch next week and another batch the week after (like they did in a previous year), but that might be hoping for a little too much.

Additionally, this isn't including theatrically released films that haven't yet been released in physical or digital formats, like My Hero Academia: You're Next, OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom, and Ghost Cat Anzu. Lastly, this list doesn't include the many special episodes/OVAs/recap films/etc. that get dubbed. It's just for TV series and movies for the most part. This also doesn't include "adult anime." | 2024 Full Year Dub Stats Split by Season and Released/Simuldubbed Anime Split by Season and Amount of Anime per Licensor Split by First Half and Second Half of 2024 Final Statistics: With 176 completed anime over 366 days, that is the equivalent of 1 anime dub completed about every 2.1 days. Winter 2024 had 33 dubbed shows and 2 dubbed films. Spring 2024 had 40 dubbed shows and 6 dubbed films. Summer 2024 had 44 dubbed shows and 8 dubbed films. Fall 2024 had 37 dubbed shows and 6 dubbed films. In Total that equals out to 154 dubbed shows and 22 dubbed films, which is about 1 dubbed show every 2.4 days and 1 dubbed film every 16.6 days. Winter 2024 shows had the equivalent of about 130 normal length released episodes and 288 normal length simuldubbed episodes (= 418 episodes). Spring 2024 shows had the equivalent of about 96 normal length released episodes and 481 normal length simuldubbed episodes (= 567 episodes). Summer 2024 shows had the equivalent of about 384 normal length released episodes and 452 normal length simuldubbed episodes (= 836 episodes). Fall 2024 shows had the equivalent of about 56 normal length released episodes and 416 normal length simuldubbed episodes (= 472 episodes). In total, that is the equivalent of about 666 normal length released dubbed episodes and 1,637 normal length simuldubbed episodes (totaling 2,303 episodes) over the 154 dubbed shows (not films). Dub Records Set in 2024 1: Not exactly a record, but it's interesting nonetheless. It's the first time Crunchyroll has used VSI Group to dub an anime (Sound! It's the third year in a row that Crunchyroll's in-house studio dubbed 84 anime. 3: A record in a bad way, it's a record low amount of released dubbed anime (not simuldubbed) since keeping track of basic dub output in 2017. Only 56 this year, and that's 20 less than 2023 (and 2023 was already a drastic drop from the previous years. 4: A record in a bad way, Sentai had a record low 16 dubs, which is the least amount of dubs since keeping track of basic dub output in 2017. Didn't realize Sentai Filmworks has decided to stop dubbing the entire franchise completely. You would think they would just try to catch up with what is already been released so far which I think is up to episode 11. |
