Isekai Suicide Squad

Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., has assembled a group of notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark. These DC Super-Villains are sent into an otherworldly realm that's connected to this world through a gate. It's a world of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies—an "ISEKAI!"

Harley Quinn and the others go berserk after arriving in the ISEKAI but are captured by the Kingdom's soldiers and sent to prison. They only have 72 hours before the bombs implanted in their necks explode. The clock is ticking. After negotiations with Queen Aldora, their liberation is contingent upon the conquest of her enemies, the hostile Imperial army. The Squad members have no choice but to throw themselves head-first into the battle's frontline.

Everything from the artistic choices to directing is utterly insane. The artistic whiplash is impossible to convey through words.
A definition of a must watch. Regardless of it's quality, if you have even a passing interrest in anime you should experience it and acknowledge in how wicked times we live.

Though, perhaps the most terrifying aspect, is that is has SO much effort put behind some of its parts. Not to mention the brief moments of genuine greatness - bursts of excellence woven into the stinkiest of sewage.

At least it is finally canon for Harley to be pounded by an orc.
Also, Dio ... Cena.
Adorable.

Mixed Feelings

Preliminary (5/10 eps)

The most overused dc team is now an anime :)

Plot: 5/10
The united states run out of countries to take oil from so they send the suicide squad to another world with bombs on their necks since the previous team run away in this other world.
The suicide squad is now trapped in said world (most generic shit to ever exist its the aether mod from minecraft on easy difficulty and most features removed) and they have to fight in a war between wolve monsters and humans for the humans ofc...

Animation: 7/10
The 1st episode was... thankfully it improves in the next episodes.

Characters: 5/10
Suicide Squad, do i need ... to say more? (oh there is a minimum word limit)

Overall (5/10)
Another generic isekai with the most overused team in DC if a video game, 2 movies and 2 animated movies in the last 10-12 years werent enough now we have also an isekai... it should have been the teen titans.

Plots that don't connect well and a narrative that can seem forced or incoherent. The anime may not meet expectations based on the films or comics, resulting in discontent with differences in tone and approach. The quality of animation and character design can be considered subpar, especially compared to other anime or superhero films.
