If you watched Blue Lock and were interested in Nagi and Reo's characters/motivations, this is the movie for you! It delves deeper into their backstories than the anime, showing the Blue Lock experience through Nagi's (and Reo's) POV.

While it recaps certain parts of the original anime, they are experienced from a different character's viewpoint so I didn't necessarily see it as a "recap." If anything, it adds another level to what we saw from Isagi/Team Z's POV. After all, we got to see more of what took place before Nagi and Reo got to the point we see in the original anime!

Paying just to watch a recap, nah man.
This movie was really a let down, I expected to see something different compared to what i watched in the first season, but over 80% of this movie is just stuff everyone already watched but a bit more from Nagi's POV, I expected to see something more "In-Depth" about Nagi, but there was nothing literally.
The whole time i was in the movie theatre my reaction to most of the movie was "Oh, but I already watched this".
To be fair I don't see the point of this movie at all, could've just made it an OVA.
