| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Finally, that's more like it. Back to action in the present. I find this just to be a traditional ass kicking episode. Marlya is also being more useful this season while Veronica isn't holding back either. I wonder what Veronica is planning in the end this season but at least she's on better relationship with Marlya now. |

| Seems that Ray believes quite strongly that all power in this world must belong to that of man and nothing else. The ambush of the train though sure was quite the move from Ray's enemies. Still while unsuccessful it sure created quite an interesting situation for the team though in forcing them to defend a castle. Still a rush of fairies is not actually what i expected when skirmishing and flanking attacks would have been more effective. The insight into what happened to Ver after the sacking sure was insightful. While the fight between Free and Wolfram was a brutal one its interesting in seeing Wolfram actually get serious while also revealing some interesting questions for Free. Hmm overall an interesting ep that focused on the theme of establishing the kind of motivations that fuels each characters actions while bringing back some much needed action. While the battles were as hectic as ever im curious on the effects that the questions expressed here will have on the cast. |

Ya know IMAO Marlya should side with Ray Dawn besides didn't the town where she grew up treated her like shit and Ray Dawn gave her the payback that the town deserve..... Looks like Ver's plan to kill Ray Dawn, kinda looks like someone beating her to it. Whoa, did I just saw wolfarn with Michael Conner who is also visiting Ray Dawn in secret????? |

| The males where killing each other and my girls where talking things out !!,,YEEES!!! Now the males can have their own love affair!! And leave my lesbians alone!!!,,It was actually kind of cute to be honest =P And bit of Yaoi and Yuri would work well together,, seen it before!! Marlya was closer then ever to get her partner back. Finally they got to have a real talk, and it was a very touching scene.. Easily the best so far ,,And again the only thing that matter for Marlya is her beloved girlfriend! I love to see how strong her love is, it was just beautiful as all hell!!!l So pleased overall!! Keep it up! And i want to see a lesbian kiss between the lovebirds before this mess ends!! But for now you have 9/10 Great job!!  |

| ngl thought Marlya would go for a kiss or smth, it was pretty funny when Veronica just yeeted her away Other than that not that bad of an ep. Not good by any means but not as trash as other eps of this series. Fighting wasn't too bad to watch |

| Somehow, this show is unpopular at MAL. I don't know the reason, but it may come from the reputation from the media of the industry for one thing. Actually, character design is beautiful and animation is not bad. One problem would be coming from its show-wrestling style development. Although they are fighting for a long time from the beginning of the show, almost any main character hasn't died. And furthermore, there was cheat-strong enemy at the end part of the first season. These cheat and never-ending fighting should be one of the reason that this show gets low score. |

| So the usual flashback hell continues as the Know Name insert songs makes its return during the intense action scenes. Praise for the soundtrack and action aside...it seems like now we are going to resort to yuri bait to bring up the ratings of this series? I can smell the desperation. You know...this series continues to play on my frustration. There's so much potential here that I feel like is being wasted. The animation is solid, the music composition is spot on, voice acting is on point, the art style has a surprisingly nice aesthetic to it, and there's a wealth of characters and lore that could easily be more fleshed out and explored; however, Fairy Gone's number one problem at the end of the day is the direction. It feels like the writers have no idea what to do with this series and as a result, everything seems loosely tied together in a half-assed fashion. Sure there are signs of improvement going on right now as we see questions at least as far as Ray Dawn, Ver and Marlya are concerned getting answered but it's like...y'all are late here. I'm trying to keep an optimistic viewpoint especially since the fall stock is pretty slim pickings this time around...but omg man. |

| This was a pretty strong episode, I must say. I'm impressed. =) Veronica is still determined to take out Ray Dawn, but another faction, most likely Arcame, is also after him and their attempt to kill him by blowing up the railway bridge didn't go according to plan. Dorothea take Ray Dawn to a nearby derelict castle for the night, but the attacks came again. Veronica got into the castle and took on Wolfran, but ended up retreating by nursing an injury, knowing that she wouldn't win. Marlya dived into the moat after Veronica and was successful in saving her. Thus came along two clashes of this episode, Wolfran Vs Free and Marlya's confrontation with Veronica. The former's fight was intense and the animation for it all was very good as both guys traded blows with one another while not backing down on what they believed, which led to Wolfran choosing that moment to escape. The latter was an rather intimate moment between Veronica and Marlya that also got very intense as well. Even though Veronica left after a heated moment between the two of them, Marlya was still determined they both of them would cross paths again. Speaking of Veronica, we also got to see a flashback of how she was able to get her fairy when Carme took her in. The way she took the fairy and how it accepted her was pretty nice. =) |

| Free is the best character of the series until now and I think I like it more and more through the episodes. Ver is very focused on her resentment but she’s starting to open her mind. |

| Idc what anyone says, I love this series and this was finally a solid 10/10 episode. best girl Maryla could have single handedly turned this into a masterpiece with a kiss, smh, lol. Nice to see 50 5 out of 5 votes tho! Really hope we get a season 2 |

| Let the revenge battle tactics of Veronica and Ray Dawn, the expedition begin. Along with Marlya and the others at Dorothea, along with the other factions (most presumably) Arcame plotting in the background. With the Arcame traitor Wolfran showing up to escort Ray Dawn as a means to continue support by being for him (and not for the country that is United Zesskia) along with Michel Connor as emergency backups, good luck and bad luck are two sides of the same coin, with Free vs. Wolfran and Marlya vs. Veronica. As long as Dorothea is under the wimps of the government, they will stay forever fools in encroachment. That explains true for Wolfran and Veronica that have the same thought process. Whereas for Free that couldn't decide, Marlya knew that they would cross paths again in the future, having her as support for Veronica. This is the kind of episode I've come to expect when it comes to good story, plot, coupled with P.A. Works magic that truly excels. What an episode. |

| Seems like they removed some of the overbearing darkness they used to add to almost all fights, I mean first time I notice the wolf spirit has a skull belt and a red mane, while Marlya's fairy looks so vibrant now. Also maybe Ray Dawn is a bit crazy on his ideals but overall he holds almost the same ideals most scientist have, find out what makes the world tick and use it to help humanity in contrast to those that would say leave nature/fairy chaotic ways alone. |

| Hmm Marlya and Veronica share a complex bond as we already knew. I would love to see Veronica 'melt' a bit. But I guess her negative emotions are just too much right now. She needs to resolve some of them first. Welp, I am patiently wating to see how their 'friendship' and everything else plays out. |

Although I'm not sure how many anime fans read comics or novels, your explanation that TV original anime shows have few supporters seems plausible. Also tastes to eroticism and character design may be the factors as you mentioned. At least, it took decades that the big-eyed character design coming from girls' comics gets popularity in Japan. Other than that, exposure to the media like magazines and web sites, supply of fansub and video streaming may be the factors too. |

| Ver's backstory cleared up some questions i had. And her clash with Maria on what's right with relation to Ray Dawn's fate. They both have their own way of coping with the trauma of the past and i understand both positions, so it's really hard for me to take anyone's side. On one side, this sleazebag waste of a human does deserve to be punished for what he's done, but on the other side, you really can't change anything at this point and his death will not get you anything. | A running trope with this series has always been re-occurring flashbacks, a huge chunk of the story is told through that. They should work more of the cuts I'd say. Just like Wolfran said “Good and bad luck are two sides of the same coin”, that makes Veronica and Marlya on the same plane, one is guarding the person who ruined her life, and the other swears on his death. |
