Yeah, he's even more fired up than usual. Honestly, I've seen this so many times that it's not surprising at all anymore. Lucy, Juvia, and Gray also looked battle ready this epsiode though. Oh boy, God Serena is back. Gildarts too! |

| Ok, on a second watch, the opening song is actually fire. Poor Mira, but cruel Irene is hot af. And lol, the twelve are back and we got to see Larcade ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Ok episode for most parts, but the ending was hype. Especially with mother fucking Gildarts entrance. R.I.P. Serena, that guy get's the worst match ups xD |

| Damn Gildarts entrance was way better than in the manga and I've never been a fan of Shanks lol. And so it begins. Episode was super slow tho but Larcade is finally fucking here. Have to see his moment animated. |

| So Brandish pretty much saved Mira? Because first I thought August would let her live which would not make sense. The amount of soldiers is a bit too big though, where do they all come from lol. This episode was pretty meh until Gildarts hype, was about time he showed up. |

| Pretty cool buildup episode but more importantly what a return for Gildarts! Seeing Cana’s smile there was very nice to see, really rekindled back those moments of the two which I really found great. Are we going to see an epic re-return for Laxus? Erza should be even more gravely injured considering she got taken down twice, both in bad fashion, so one’d expect Laxus to do so too I suppose. That aside, seeing mad Irene was a treat lol. Dope moment between her and August there but good thing Mirajane made it out alive, I mean I totally knew something of the sort would’ve happened but anyway . Not sure what to make of those two sisters bit, I honestly can’t remember much regarding either of them. Heck, they were parting ways but came to the battlefield together anyway so it’s nothing too much of a biggie I suppose. Some more Mavis and Zeref scenes too, looks like Irene will be temporarily out and up to no good. We finally got to see that scene from the PV/trailer(whichever it was) with Erza sort of biding farewell only for the others to just spring back with some nakama-influenced quotes. Zeref is not going to underestimate Fairy Tail and that’s cho-very bad news. Looking forward to seeing how things progress from here onwards! Gray taking on that Zeref’s secretary should be interesting and similarly Gildarts v God Serena (both who were taken down/beat rather easily at the hands of Acnologia). Very curious to know more about the Dragneel fella too. |

| The extremely long war is getting annoying. I know that nothing would have changed by the end, so this is just pointless stuff. The story takes no risk at all. They should kill some irreplaceable and powerful characters like Erza or Mirajane or Makarov or Laxus or all of them. And maybe, instead of the characters getting more and more powerful, they can be severely weakened. Or, it would be interesting if Erza or Gildarts or some other powerful character betrays the protagonists. Make the fight emotionally and physically challenging for the main characters! War is horrific. At least show some of the horror! Natsu has fire powers. He can melt the armours of his opponents and give them a painful death. Or, he can just heat them and make his opponents unconscious from extreme heat. Water and wind can punch holes in people when released with extreme force. Water can also suffocate people. Wendy and Juvia should be able to do quite the damage to their enemies as well. Erza has multiple swords. Do I even have to say how lethal her attacks can get? If they want to keep things child-friendly, they can still have Erza attacking her opponents with the blunt force of the pummel! Lucy is useless. Grey can use his ice to either stab people or just stiffen their muscles. Happy and Carle can carry people and drop the from a great height! The fights were fought quite terribly! No character takes proper advantage of their powers! I feel like FairyTail fans are going to hate me now. |

| First part was average, August looks damn creepy af, that Larcade guy seems bad news tbh. So they decided to change Gildarts design after so many years with Shanks being around.  |

 Its nice watching a bit of hentai time to time, but God ammit, thought we had our first death. Didn't even get emotional, there needs to be a meaningful death -but no, apparently not. On another note, gildarts return was long overdue. God Serena is supposed to be OP even if he is just a corpse version, so I wonder how gildarts will fare. I gotta say, animation was so static, it was painful to watch. |

| What an episode! Gildarts is back!!! What an entrance! But still, i don't know how they will win :/ Especially against all 12 of spriggan back plus having 2 of the strongest mages and even worse...Zeref is there. Brandish is the best! i really like her. Damn, this will be sooo hard for them to win. |

| I actually hoped the scene with Zeref and Mavis and Invel ¬_¬ would have a little bit of a romantic feeling to it, even if only to a minimum. Not saying that would have been the case if they had actually been alone but the presence of party-pooper Invel surely didn't help. Glad to see everyone getting fired up again, though I have to admit the fight shouldn't be going on for much longer... it'd inevitably become boring. Now that Gildarts has returned, too, it's high time for them to settle the score with the enemy. That being said, there was one thing that really annoyed me. I expected it to happen since it happened almost every time before, but ugh. Everybody getting together and/or reunited, preparing for battle - oh wait. Where is Jellal?! He got one episode showing one impressive and awesome magic attack and poof. Disappeared again. This (or something very similar) has happened a lot throughout the entire series so far. Am I the only one bothered by this? I'm glad he's been in the picture at all this season, every now and then, but I really want him to join this fight. I so hope he will. If anyone knows if he will join the fight or not, please tell me. (If you want to, please do use the spoiler button to make sure it won't accidentally be read by users who don't want to know. Just because I do want to know if Jellal's going to join the fight or not, doesn't mean everyone else wants to know and I'm aware of that. I didn't buy for a second Mirajane was in any real jeopardy but it was neat to see Irene get a little payback. She's becoming one of my favorite FT villains. After the effort required to take down some of the Spriggan 12, I can only imagine the sheer amount of cheese with which they will be defeated again in the upcoming fight. I admit my hype was a little tamped down by this, as well as all the attacks against the small fries being lackluster still frames. We've seen this done much better earlier in the arc. I did laugh at God Serena (Corpse Version), though, and he died so abruptly I'm curious to see his battle against Gildarts. |
| this episode defines everything whats wrong with the show I don't know why they continue/end it without the budget.Everytime a fight scene appears the anime becomes a diashow expecially this episode was full of this garbage...... and then also deminishing the treat of the biggest enemy by letting everyone alive i MEAN WTF ! WHY? |
