 It was announced after the final broadcasting episode of 3-gatsu no Lion that the series will be getting a second season. The anime will air in Fall 2017 according to NHK network. The first season aired between October 2016 and March 2017 for a total of 22 episodes. The series adapts the manga by the same title drawn by Chika Umino. The series currently has 12 compiled volumes in print, with the latest published in September 2016. The first part of the two-part live-action movie also premiered today, and the second part will premiere later in April. | YESSS!!! Hope it will be another 2 cour. The 1st season's pacing is well done but I hope somehow that they can fit 3 chapters per episode next time without ruining the pacing. More chapters adapted the better. |
