| Arrrrrrgggggg!!!! Nooooooo!!! D: Fuck, that fucking show... After Renji read that ending, it was obvious what Chihiro wanted to do. She went for the easy option unfortunately... It's so sad since that date was so beautiful. They had such a great chemistry. I don't think that Renji will be able to accept it. But there is still one thing that make me hope, it's the sentence Chihiro said in the episode 11 preview, she said ''Engrave me some memories that will stay forever''. It's pretty much impossible normally, but could she remember him, even if she ripped those pages? Like if love was more powerful than her condition? |

| I was frankly shocked that she just tore out the pages of her diary instead of jumping off the roof, although I probably shouldn't have been. The entirety of her story was symbolic of an element of her life; thus, the girl in her story killing herself would be as well. It could be said that her tearing out so much of her life is killing part of herself. I also agree that the girls in this anime have sex way too soon. |

| ...Love prevails? Casting aside my issues with the additional out-of-place sex scene, the real question here is whether Chihiro throwing away her memories was an act of love or an act of selfishness. After mulling on it for quite a long time (the potential implications of this episode dumbfounded me), I've come to the conclusion that, unlike with Miyako's break-up scenario, this stemmed out of love. Chihiro stood to gain nothing by casting herself away (figuratively). She herself noted that her life became much happier after Renji entered it. However, knowing the pain he would need to suffer, she decided that the only way to "release" Renji from her burden would be to do so herself, directly. She made peace with it. If Renji was to ever let go of Chihiro, now would be the time to do it. A better ending is unlikely to present itself. Of course, if Renji has learned to (truly) love, I get the feeling that's not what he'll choose. After all... love prevails. In a series like this, the ending is very important. Given the fairy tale motif this story uses, the title of this episode, "ever forever", is an intriguing phrase. |
| Oh my gosh, that part at the end when she threw all the papers. I almost started crying. As for the two of them having sex, it didn’t bother me with Miya and Hiro since they knew each other for a long while, they were both seventeen, etc. However, with Renji and Chihiro, it’s different. Renji’s probably fifteen or something, and Chihiro, while sixteen, has the mentality of a twelve year old. That and she’s basically only known him for one day. The innocence thing that people were complaining about with Miya and Hiro didn’t really hit me, but I feel it applies here. Still, it’s not going to affect my rating of the show, though it definitely affects my rating of the episode. 4/5 Looking forward to the next episode. The moment of truth. Wonder if anything will happen between Kei and Katsuyo. |

| THANK GOD SHE DIDN'T JUMP FROM THE ROOF. That said, the last episode is still left for me, but the move of throw alway the pages with memories was obvious... and useless. Chihiro memories are protected forever, in Renji's memories. Hope they reach this conclusion in the final. You guys should Watch "I want to eat your pancreas" movie after this series. Are two dramas that match pretty well. |

It is true that no matter what, their story cannot have a happy ending, at least not in the conventional way. But what will happen to Chihiro now ? She soon will be left with no memories, and no way to know all that happened before... Please don't tell me she's gonna commit suicide. I don't want her to commit suicide. |

| It's definitely odd to see them be physical despite Chihiro basically still being 12. They really did set it up like she was going to jump but this at least has a way of turning out alright, it really is depressing to have to live by your old self and redefining yourself through a diary. |

| Only 13 hours... Chihiro really took the best possible option, but to make someone disappear from your life as easily as it is with Chihiro's situation is enormously scary, simply cut some leaves and throw them away... The determination and courage to be able to do it. .. When in the novel it said that the girl burned all the portraits, and also got the castle with the memories. And she said "God took the last remnant of the world, and threw it off the cliff" I thought he would kill himself. |

| For Chihiro, it's worse to be forgotten than it is to disappear. The former is no different to an unceremonious death, while the latter is akin to suicide. At the very least, voluntarily disappearing is a conscious choice one can make, if just to retain some semblance of control of one's life. Wow, what an anime. |
| It was a simple little scene but Renji securing the claw game plushie was adorable. Chihiro's decision is sad and all but can't help but think about the mess all that paper is gonna leave lol |
