Mushoku Tensei is 7/10 simple isekai with potential to be good.

Comparing it to masterpiece Re:Zero which each scenes has 3x more details & foreshadowing & depth than MT.

I don't care if you don't enjoy Re:Zero or something but Re:Zero is best isekai also best anime for me.

That would make sense since I dropped the show at ep 2 when he was traumatized by two kids playing. I responded directly because the mods locked the thread.
Anywho, I fail to see how that show is rebut to 'western culture' since the MCs issues would result in...


7.62 magic spells being slung everywhere. The author couldn't possibly have dropped that shit fast enough lol.

Thanks for the link, I'll probably watch more of them to understand GS better, although I'm not new to the fantasy/rpg tropes, and you hyped me up about it so I might as well start it pretty soon! I know for sure how to approach it thanks to your review, it's nice to watch shows where characters aren't overacting and have flaws, & when fan-service isn't in every episode (i don't hate ecchi anyway, but a serious story feels more impactful)
