| I'd expect they climbed a mountain for the finale not playing in the water. Hopefully there's a S2 of this 8/10 one of the better shorts of the season. |

| I wouldn't have been convinced that that was the last episode if I didn't know the episode count. A bit of an uneventful ending. Not bad though, I enjoyed watching bits of this anime every week. 7/10 Also, that food looks really tasty! |
| Shame it's over it was fun to and the ending suggests there might be a second season at some point. Hinata and Aoi playing in the river and eventually falling in it was funny and Kokona's cooking skilles gave them a nice meal. Hopefully we will get to see more mountains in the second season if it ever airs. |
| Aww, it's over. I will miss Yama no Susume a lot. It is easily one of the better short anime series out there. Let's hope for a second season! |

| I believe it should be Legendary at 9 and Masterpice at 10. This was about as good as I could expect from such a short anime that isn't just random comedy skits. No one died at the end, and they didn't climb Everest. 6.5/10 |

| Given the unexpected popularity of the series in Japan and the much lower cost of making 5min anime series, I can see a lot of potential for a 2nd season. There is enough source material around already. The next target - climb above 1000m !! |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

As for "the point of the series", I guess it is more because you are assuming there is only one point for the series while other fans see there are other points about the series that they'd like to enjoy.Had potential, but didn't go into the characters as much as it could have, and I didn't feel any growth in Aoi after episode 5. I feel as if this is incomplete. Some episodes feel completely pointless and stray away from the point of the series. This bothers me. |

| This was a fun little series to watch. Just watching it put me into a good mood and put a smile on my face. I wouldn't mind watching more of this. My only gripe about all this is that each episode is entirely too short. Not much can happen in 3:30 mins, but what does happen in that time was pretty enjoyable. 8/10. |

| Really enjoyed this! It was really heartwarming to see Aoi making more friends as the show went on. Wishing all four of them climbed a mountain together though ;___; hoping for another (preferably full length episodes) season! |
| If you ever thought a cour-long moéblob show at four minutes a piece could not accomplish anything, think again. Four minutes is all a simple story like this needs and it doesn't have to worry about thematically connecting segments that many of its kin are subject to. There's no wasted movement either as every episode develops the characters, their relationships, or both. The way it introduces its characters is a refreshing take on the four girls who do nothing cliché that also makes sense considering how one of the characters is. Oh wait, these four girls are doing something: amusingly learning the dos and don'ts of mountain climbing and reaching a few summits themselves. But as surprisingly informative the show is because of its genre, true to the nature of a light story it never delves too heavily on its premise because it's only a means for developing charming character interaction. And their antics aren't charming for breaking new ground; they're charming for walking the beaten path in style. It's less churning out characters to meet a quota and more of a chance encounter that builds up for its own sake and for communicating the importance of friends. Oh yeah, the environmental art is gorgeous. Encouragement of Climb is proof that a show from any genre with any time allowance is capable of being good. It's surprisingly informative and a simply solid slice-of-life. |

| nearly flawless series. so heartwarming and adorable, and aoi and hinata are so likable. i usually love short episodes but in this case i would have been much happier with full-length ones. season 2 pleeeeeease <33 |
| I wasn't really expecting much from this being a 3min anime but it was surprisingly enjoyable and interesting to watch. The slow pace was nice but I would've preferred if they could climb more mountains. Kokona is the best! :D |

| Cute show. I would like a second season since it seems the girls only just started to hang out as a group. 7/10. I just wish they didn't need to explain the character development in the last episode. |
