| I have no problem with the character designs as I believe it's quite amusing to see different haircolors and designs every season. The whole episode was love to me <3, have waited so long for the Fifth Stage. T_T I read the manga as well but the chapters are very short and it's a bit though having to see the battles picture by picture.. :/ |
| Definitely worth the wait, Fifth Stage looks very promising. Takumi is cold as ever. xD |

| After years of waiting, initial D is finally back! I so want that Evo! Those ugly impostors, they deserve to be beaten up. They even made a girl cry, resulting in one of her friend to slap the wrong guy, which is Takumi. On the other hand, the new girl is cute. I'm hoping for a good romance between those two. |

| Am I the only one who misses the old-school PSOne style animation of the 1st Stage? Obviously it is hopelessly dated now but I still find it has a certain charm to it that this new high-quality CG lacks. |

| The characters look out of place and the art doesn't go well with the scenery. I haven't had any complaints until now about the animation. It really bothers me!! Makes it lose some of the charm. :( And Ryousuke's character... ah, he got kind of killed... Keisuke too. :( Fourth Stage art was fabulous. I wish they kept it. The CG even looks funny now. Plus the opening song doesn't feel quite right. I can't image it playing during a battle without sounding out of place. It's not a bad song or anything... just doesn't match... |

| Art is a bit more clean, decent result. Ryosuke's face really changed a lot though. Very weak plot to start this season though... And that bitch showing up, slapping Takumi... should've been slapped back at least, show her some manners. "I have no intention of talking it out with you.", then proceeds to explain why she came during 30 seconds... |
| Besides the art style changing this was a really good episode. And I agree with kenji Takumi and that girl would make a nice couple. |
| This episode was totally amazing!!! Really great development and the push up in art and cgi quality sure makes a nice change as well! Really love the pacing, and just the overall atmosphere felt more like the first two season again, which I prefered! Let's see what this season will have to offer us! |

| Really cool episode from a long gap between stage 4 and 5. Takumi and Keisuke showing up like baddasses just to show them fakes how the real ones do things. Keisuke's hair colour seems different and Ryosuke's hair is just WTF. Also GAS GAS GAS!! |

| This new OP is cool, but the animation/character design lost the classic feel to it, and it's pretty bland, Ryousuke is looking especially terrible, I hope they fix him. As for the "plot" this episode had, it was so ridiculous that I couldn't even take it seriously, but it was also satisfying somehow. I don't really like this new girl over Mogi, at least not yet, but let's see if things are going to work out for them, or if it's only a matter of time till she's harshly judged by the people here, since women are such criminals, right? But well, Bunta saying that the "hard part" was only starting now right at the beginning, being followed by Iketani, Kenji, Itsuki and their "marvelous" dynamic was really annoying as usual. |

| It was a nice episode with some cool actions and character development. "Cheap bootleg versions" of Takumi and Keisuke were hilarious, lol. Takumi showing his real drift with Manuel's song in the background was epic. |

| Hillarious episode, I almost thought that Keisuke would never get to witness his imposter in action but it seems that he did Despite the episode, the new animation art feels very disgracefull because every initial d stage changes animation and theres just no consistency, Takumi along with some animation scenes look hideous for an anime that was made in 2012 and it almost feels like failed 90s anime aesthetics attempt at the same time |
