| Amuro was so funny in this episode from his pose in the photo to the ending where he kept screaming out her name in his head. The action in this was spectacular with Amuro taking on the three tristar guys. |

| Yeah, I noticed that preview problem a long time ago and stopped watching them. Sometimes episode titles also have this problem but not this time. Awww, Matilda died. I liked her. Her hair however looked horrible. Some details would have been great but now it was only red blob. Ah well older's anime problem. |
| Matilda's out... Too bad, she was such a boss. Unlike Ryu, I felt genuinely sad when she died. But I couldn't help myself laughing at Amuro's "MATIRUDA-SAAAAAAN"s; so freaking out of place and funny. And yeah, those damn previews... At least Char will be back soon ! :D |

| Wow what a episode!! So Kycilia is working with Char and they probably want Zeon for themselves. I wonder if the leaders of Zeon has notice of their actions? Hope to see Char soon!! That Tri Blackstar team!! I knew Gundam Seed once again took another design from 079. Love how Amuro springs to one of the enemies as he evade one of the attacks. Man just as when Amuro was able to spend some time and even got her attention she suddenly dies : Though Amuro wouldn't be able to survive that triple attack if she didn't interfered. I'm seeing some spark in Amuro's head. I guess we're getting closer on what this is?? :D Though it's pretty gutsy of her to live the ship without any help in the middle of battle. Sayla was inexperience in this, but i don't blame her since this is a new type of weapon never before used in battle. Seems Bright is now okay! The way they say Matilda in Japanese is "Machiruda" so Amuro saying Maaachiruuudaaaaa-san! kinda sounds funny, but you still see the same hearing. Though why did Mirai gasp when she remembered something? I wonder what that is? I definitely won't be watching any previews anymore. They're spoiling it too much. Today it's fine, but man back then was definitely spoiler hell. Can't wait for the next episode though! Char time please!!!! |

| Oh man :( I normally don't get too into relationships in anime, but the Amuro x Matilda thing was great. Perhaps it's just because I'm usually into the young kid x older woman relationship, but I was really hoping for it to go somewhere... and then NOPE. :( This show knows how to hit right where it hurts... |

| Gotta say, Matilda's respect-paying scene was a lot easier to take seriously than that of Ryu... Well, at least until Amuro had to ruin the moment and start yelling. Also, yay, another bitchslap! I should have counted these from the beginning of the show - I'm pretty sure there's one every other episode. Maybe I'm watching this show for the wrong reasons. Haha. |

| Perhaps too hastily, abandons us the character of Matilda, if he had spent a little time in history, his departure would affect more on the viewer, what a pity! | I feel like her death would have made a bigger impact on me if it hadn't been spoiled by last episodes preview! Nonetheless great episode, with a lot of spotlight on Sayla, so that made me happy at least. |
| Don't know what Matilda expected to achieve in her transport ship against some of the newest mobile suits around, but it was sad to see her go. It's nice to see this attack is finally going to happen because they have been talking about it for a long time now. Amuro Ray Kill Count: 1 Dom kill this episode 28 kills total. |

| What an episode! It did have its flaws, but I'll let them pass. I'm watching the dub, so seeing Matilda pass was shocking. I do concur that it did seem rushed and I thought there would be more build up to her death. Maybe next episode Amuro will commiserate about her passing. Also the battle scenes rocked! And what a great name "The Black Tri-Stars." |
| Matilda's funeral was way classier than Ryu's -- at least everybody saluted her, and only Sayla, having a solid reason to, actually cried. As always good to see this show having the balls to kill its characters off quite steadily. For a second I thought even Bright would succumb to that fever. |

| Our allies are falling, so soon after Ryu too. Not that she was a permanent member of the crew, but she made a lasting impression on them. War has taken away Amuro's first love, and it makes me worried for who will drop in the upcoming episodes. Death makes the happier moments of an episode stand out far more. The photograph was cute and seeing Amuro continue to mentor Sayla was as well. I love how we get to see Amuro and Sayla get along. It feels really organic. Not to mention that combat, fighting against Hillbillies in a forest (dub), especially those three-on-one slow-mo cuts, yeah it was rad. Super rad. But like with Ryu, perhaps as a way to differentiate the coolness from the anti-war message, we immediately snap out of super cool combat into the loss of life. It will still sell toys, but it will also make us reflect on the ramifications of violence! Or, something. |

| It was fun to watch Matilda interact with the boys on White Base. I liked how she was kind of playful with them but not accepting weird advances either. It was sad to see her go. It also felt like her passing was sort of sped up a bit. The episode didn't really give enough screentime to her fate with it happening in the blink of an eye. |

| There were some interesting moments with Mirai here. The way she looked at Matilda and got scared out of nowhere seemed like a kind of premonition...? The preview in this episode also spoiled something pretty big for next episode, so that’s cool. I wish the ending song played first so I had time to turn on my controller and skip to the next episode... |

| Well, this didn't hit me at all since it was already spoiled the episode before. Matilda was likable but like most of the characters that die in this show they don't really get enough spotlight to make the viewer care too much about it. They are just wasting characters in my opinion. The Tristar guys had some good dodging skills but the battle didn't feel all that engaging to me. Guess the repetitive nature of the show starts to grate on me. It's just battle after battle at the moment. Hoping for a larger scale battle with M'quve soon. |
