| This show reminds me a little of the Atelier game series. The first episode mostly focused on Sarasa as a student and how she has to deal passing a test to become an alchemist. Cute episode imo. Even if Sarasa is a bit shy, she has potential. Looking forward to more characters being introduced eventually. |

| No one told me that Atelier's other anime series came early. Of course it is a joke For the lone daughter Sarasa, she sure has the typical face of the hentai normal protagonist, but having her parents contractually lost their lives due to bandits and running away from reality all on her own. And living in an orphanage and having a dream like being an alchemist, working her ass off to reach her desired goal after 5 years, Sarasa's got it down with her graduation and along with it, her alchemize license. The next step: getting all of the knowledge through the alchemist "complete works" but only literally having enough savings for that alone, and her master's gift with a run-down shophouse that's far out from town for a subsidy, Sarasa's job to earn enough to purchase ingredients...just got much harder. Despite being an ENGI-produced show, it really doesn't feel like one (not even to the point of say, Uzaki-chan), and that's saying something. Will have some potluck alchemy with this show, and Sarasa could be one of the low-key best girls of the season. |

| Very nice and wholesome start. This was even better than I expected. Our main character is such a sweet, funny, and hardworking girl. Aww, that headpat and Sarasa's reaction. <3 Definitely the best first episode so far in this season. |

| So far this is looking really promising the mains history is sad but it's nice did she kept her sight on what she wanted to become and i hope she has a bright future ahead. Still getting the shop going might be pretty hard but i guess that's the point of this anime. It's seems corruption is also a thing seeing how her parents store was taken from her not to mention how the nobles got higher grades because of their position. |
| I'm pretty sure i've played a game just like this ... just with different names and locations. I know this is a light novel adaptation, but still. i guess official game licenses are expensive these days, lol. Tho, i was not expecting a sad opening, but our heroine got through it, cut her hair and set towards her goal. That's the spirit. |

| the works this is adapted from is without a doubt inspired by the Atelier franchise (which had its 25th anniversary not too long ago) it feels really nice, its literally watching an atelier anime (E&L's anime was kinda mid tbh) i think the biggest difference is that in the franchise magic power doesnt need to get poured in the cauldron, its more of an innate talent thing... although maybe some of the games are like that, its been a while since ive played the early tittles oh, and the games have never had a complete female cast, im pretty sure |

| well it isn't isekai. it doesn't look like a JRPG fantasy game mechanics show. i haven't seen a single 'menu' or 'appraisal screen' pop up in ep1. she spent an actual four/five years in school, AND worked part-time jobs, AND studied under a master alchemist for her practical skills. so even though she might maybe possibly be OP... she worked her BRAIN off to get to this point. if she maybe could be OP it wasn't handed to her by 'the system' or 'cheats' or 'modern Japanese scientific Earth knowledge' or 'gift from a god' or anything other than studying hard. so, what's an alchemist nerd-girl going to do out in the boonies when she's pretty-much spent around a half a decade with her nose in a veritable mountain of books? we shall see next episode! :D |

| Pretty fun first episode that was cute, the lonely orphan girl studied to hard and managed to pass her alchemist exams and now mainly thanks to her mentor she traveled and is gonna open her alchemist shop... though it will sure need some renovations lol |

| Ah, this one went by a little too quick but the MC's backstory is established and she is ready to start up shop out in the wilderness. She's hardworking and seems to have a noble soul, which should lead to some good stories this Fall. |

| That was a great first episode. Typical speed for a CGDCT anime. The whole opening could have been 12 episodes by itself. I’m surprised no one pointed out Ophelia and Maria yet. 🥰 I’m looking forward to more development on that front. This seems like a pretty low key story for much though. Looking forward to next week’s episode as we start adding the other girls. 🧙🏻♀️ |
| This is a nice one, I was hoping one of the seemingly comfy fantasy shows I picked this season would be comfy and this one looks to be it lol. Sarasa is definitely a great mc for this, and I knew I recognized her VA, she also voices Hina from “Diary of our days at the Breakwater” which I mainly figured out from her reaction to her shop at the end of the episode lol, very cute voice acting. And I’ll say this definitely reminds me of the Atelier game series (of which I’ve only played Ryza lol), and also takes me back to RPG Real Estate from Spring this year which I was a big fan of. The exam for becoming an alchemist was interesting too, it’s funny that it was meant to be easier tho because they messed up the ingredients lol, and Sarasa’s little fantasy of Ophelia was a nice bit of potential yuri. I definitely liked that OP too, and for the ED I’m excited to get to hear it with visuals next hopefully. |
| this season is like a silence before the storm... we ended september on the high note from very good anime... starting october with average quality anime... I'm still skeptical but will give the benefit of the doubt. It seems that the anime budget is getting slimmer or that good stories are depleting. |

| I'm just here for the comfy Atelier vibes~ Our protagonist is really cute, smart, and likeable! Can't wait to see how she deals with her... um.... totally not brand-new shop next episode! They kind of rushed through her beginnings a bit, but it was enough to set the stage, at least. I love how they actually showed and explained why she's such a brilliant alchemist; her backstory actually makes sense! I'm not really expecting much besides cute alchemy shenanigans, and I think I'll get exactly what I'm looking for~ |

| Sarasa reminds me of Sakura from Card Captor Sakura :D But first episode looks promising. I thought it'll be a long, boring first episode with too much background info story and her going through her school life days, but thankfully that didn't happen. Plus her relationship with her Master was really familial lol Now I can't wait to see how she'll turn that |

| I would describe this as forced cute. The anime trying to be so cute in an artificial, tryhard way, that it's kinda repulsive to me. Sarasa's voice actor used a voice so whiny that it is unnatural even for anime girls, the character designs are generic but all look as cutesy as possible, and the mandatory sad backstory's only goal is to make Sarasa look even cuter when reminiscing about her past life on her journey of achieving her cute dream of following her parents' footsteps. I get the intention, I do like moe/cgdct and whatever, but in this case (mainly because of Sarasa's voice which I hated) it was too much. Watching this anime was like eating too much creamy cake, at first I enjoyed it but it made me sick fast. |

| I will praise this show as a resounding success only if it ends with Sarasa finding the people who killed her parents and took everything away from her and using her alchemy powers to somehow murder them. If it's just gonna be another cute girl fantasy show like RPG Real Estate then sorry, it might not be for me. That show only made it through to my completed list simply by virtue of being a Kirara/Doga Kobo joint. This doesn't have that safety net. I love cute girl shows but I'm gonna start needing interesting story twists and gimmicks from them now. |

| enjoyed the first episode. Sarasa experienced tragedy early in life, and their property seems to have been illegaly taken by that bald guy - someday, I hope she get revenge on these wicked people. fortunately, she lived in an orphanage with kind people. That's an amazing potion making skill Sarasa did during the test! Her teacher Ophelia is probably very proud of what happened there. ok, all female main cast, no guys in the main cast. Glad I found another good cgdct anime. looking forward to next week! :) |
