| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Great episode. We got more background storytelling about Elias' past. The storytelling continues as Chise learns more about Elias including the time when he didn't even have a name but later received one. Chise's return to play with the dragons was amusing. I also have to say that this show has some really fascinating creatures like the one she saw underwater. This episode was also important for making Chise's staff with some of hair. Loved that song for the second half of this week's episode :) |

| Like every episode, had some beautiful moments and was porn to the eyes, I loved the whole water mirror thing and am glad they're showing the wand being made. I'm not sure if I want to hear Chise tell someone about how Eliasis the only one to ever be there for her again though, kinda feels like we're getting it every other episode. |

| Pretty good episode, it was a pleasant surprise to see flashbacks from the prequel OVA. |
| The visuals in this episode was stunning. Got to see more of Elias backstory. He scared off some humans when Lindel was healing a sick boy. He said he might have eaten humans before. Despite that, Chise has never been scared of him. She's well-spoken and should speak to him more often. Lindel's singing was very beautiful. Elias feels lonely without her. |

On a more serious note, Silky was burying that bird at the end, right? Guess that means Elias chose to ignore what he was told. |

| Feels like saying it each week, but it was beatiful, especially Linden's singing magic!!! Same with comedy, sudden jokes mixing really good into the pacing. |

| Great episode. I really liked how we got a bit more backstory of Elias and his time with Lindel. Chise learns more about Elias and ends up trying to make her staff the following day. Towards the end of the episode was beautiful, with the bright night sky and Lindel showing Chise this wonderful sight of the creatures dancing and the flowers blooming with his spells that are songs. The scene with Elias and Chise talking was sweet, especially when Elias told Chise how cold the house was without her presence. Very excited for the next episode. |

| "Did I look tasty?" Chise, you're 24/7 looking like a snack. All jokes aside, this was another great episode. There was more backstory for Elias and some shit he and Lindel went through, but the highlight for me was that whole scene with Lindel's song. Once he started singing, the atmosphere and the scenery was just beautiful, and I loved the touching conversation between Chise and Elias through the water mirror. Plus, the actual song itself was pleasant to listen to. |

| Beautiful & wonderful episode. Nice to see more into Lindel & Elias's past. The Land of Dragons is absolutely amazing & stunning. Lindel singing & the blooming of flowers with those Elves dancing was amazing & breathtaking. Excellent job. Interested in seeing Chise use her wand for the first time. |

| Well that episode bought things back to the standard we saw earlier in the show. Animation was beautiful and detailed, even down to the scales on the underwater creature. It was nice seeing how Elias & Lindel feel about their relationship. Silky burying the bird at the end, did Elias do that? maybe, maybe not. |

| Great episode again. More backstory for Elias along with his and Lindel's little enoucnter at a human settlement, raises the question of whether Eias was a man eating monster but Chise doesn't seem to mind since she doesn't get a bad feeling from him. The part with Lindel singing was absolutely stunning, the scenery looked amazing and he touching conversation at the end between Elias and Chise was a very sweet way to end the episode. |

| Nice to see more of Elias' past. His scenes with Lindel are really interesting. I hope Lindel sticks around because I like him a lot not only because he's voiced by Daisuke Namikawa We got a small Chise/ Elias reunion, which was a sweet conclusion to the episode <3 Their relationship is progressing really nicely! I feel like the last few episodes have been a huge improvement on the beginning of the show. It's still quite slow-paced and atmospheric but we have gained more insight into the characters which personally makes me more invested in the story. |

| Aahahahahahaa the comedy in this anime is pretty bad ain't it. It works every now and then, but most of the time, it's just kind of awkward. I don't know, might just be me. While, somewhat entertaining at times, most times, it just doesn't work for me, feels forced. Everything else is fantastic though. On that note, I once carved a stick... I still have it in my closet and it looks pretty sweet. But it's also a constant reminder of how little my life has going for it if I can spend several hours peeling away at a stick... and also have fun doing it... |

| I don't think it can be said too much: The soundtrack is spectacular and it will be one we all remember! Every single episode leaves some sort of twist that blows my mind! I did not expect that ending! |

| @Inugirlz I was thinking the same thing. Elias is obviously lying about something. Silky was also burying that bird that communicated with Elias... i wonder if he killed it, or if it died when it wasn't being used to communicate anymore... (Silky picked it up off the floor near the start of the episode) |

| Solid 4 out of 5. Not too many interesting things happened, it was decently good. Definitely a plot moving episode. A little disappointed that the ending was stronger, but at least it left us with something to think about. Do birds die after being used as weird magic walkie talkies, or was it Elias who killed it and left Silky to clean it up? |

| Great episode, one of my favourites from this show so far: some more interesting backstory on Elias, as well as Lindel's song, which was an excellent scene on so many levels. I really felt just how extensive the lore is in this universe, and it's really great to have a solid story in such a universe. |
| The word 'Magical' might be the best word I can think of that describes this episode. =) The backstory of Lindel and Elias continues to be very informative and interesting, seeing just how tough it was for the two of them at times. The incident with the villagers was really unfortunate and I don't blame Elias for lashing back at them for injuring Lindel during their retreat. I couldn't help but laugh when Chise thought to herself "Do I look tasty?". Any response to that is a sexual innuendo, but obviously, she's beautiful AND tasty in my eyes. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) The best part of the episode was the segment where Lindel started to sing and the environment became very magical indeed. The song was lovely, as was the animation for the whole scene too. =D |

Most likely, this means he will not listen to the message and keep hiding things, and he lied about the fireplace, meaning he is having some sort of problem that he doesn't want her to know about. |
