Group Watches Are Back
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 19:30

We've decided to try group watching series, shorts, OVA's & Movies that have already finished airing & Members can be involved in what will be shown! It's a good way to find out about series you wouldn't normally pick up & discuss a show in real-time with other fans!

How does it work?
- Members can post their suggestions based on the anime genre mentioned in the comments below.
- We'll then gather up 4 or 5 anime and do a strawpoll of what we should watch. After a couple of days, we'll pick the most voted.
- Using Kast.gg, we'll watch that series, movie or OVA & start the process all over again.

We get through 2 episodes each watch, so if you miss one you'll only need to catch up with 2 episodes in your own time.

How can I join?
If you are interested in joining us for a group watch, just PM myself a message and I would be more than happy to send you an invite to our club and answer any questions you may have.

What are we currently watching?
The World God Only Knows (Up to Episode 10 as of Tuesday 4th September)

When and where?
Group watches will take place on Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday at 7:30pm. The website we use is Kast.gg and atm it is invite only.
Next Group Watch: Thursday 6th September @ 19:30

**New themed club cards available!**

Please consider clicking the "watching" button on this forum thread to make sure you receive notifications when we add updates such as polls & what will be watched in the comments below.

Depending on what we're watching, we could record and edit these into some pretty funny YouTube videos

@Samurl I think we are watching ones that have finished airing, rather than seasonal watches

Hmm, I haven't seen many pure comedies, one that stands out for me is I don't understand what my husband is saying, though it is a short.

Daily lives of highschool boys is also popular with several people I've spoken to, though i have not seen it myself.

I like the suggestions we've had so far. To throw in a couple of ideas, I'm never going to refuse a half-hour to rewatch Plastic Nee-san. Also though I haven't seen it, I reckon a group watch of Gakkou no Kaiden's dub would be fun.

Love to get everyone to watch the original Berserk anime or the 3 movies. My favourite show of all time, both good in sub and dub!

We have now closed the entries for suggestions. Please click follow the picture below to cast your vote. Group will begin at 19:30 next sunday.

Ones that didn't make it were either too long(120 eps @Luxray_Lord, really?! I was hoping Golden Boy would show up though) or not a comedy, no matter how funny the out takes of Berserk are @Chester-_- ;).

@TheRealBailey_ - It couldn't hurt to squeeze Plastic Nee-san onto the end of a group watch one day :)

The poll is now closed, and the winner is @Luxray_lord suggestion of Golden Boy.

I'm a little sad my suggestion of Devil is a part timer didn't win :( better luck next time i guess

Though will be looking forward to watching Golden Boy as I have heard it's considered a classic and is highly rated by those who have completed it on my friends list.

I hope many people will join us on Sunday at 19:30 to watch the first 2 episodes. If anyone wants me to message them reminding them on the day please let me know :)

Mob Psycho 100 is a fun show, interesting visually too imo so I think you'd definitely like that one.

I'll try and join this time. Hopefully Rabb.it doesn't act up for me again although I'll get Chrome as well.

Well after an a problematic group watch today the new genre has been decided :)

People can now make suggestions for the group watch after we finish Mob psycho 100 on the 14th. The next Genre will be Supernatural

NB:I know it's a large/vague genre but we thought it might bring up some interesting suggestions

If you have a problem joining the room before the watch starts, feel free to message me or @Wood94 on Rabb.it or on here :)

Kekkai Sensen

Noragami

Dusk Maiden of Amnesia

Sankarea

A lot of people have probably already seen it, but Tokyo Ghoul is always a good choice too.

(I would have added Anohana and Angel Beats too, but I dont think we all want to sit there crying together)

@Renn Dusk Maiden of Amnesia! <3 One of my favourites! I'll second that ;)

Just for the sake of listing anime I like helping us decide a anime, i'll also mention: When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace

Also, Kokoro Connect is technically supernatural too, right?....

The new Genre has been decided for the group watch that will begin on Sunday 1st October. The genre is Psychological or Mystery.

You can make a suggestion of either genre as each genre doesn't have a vast amount of anime with either tag.

Suggestions welcome up until Thursday 28/09/2017.
The poll for voting will remain open until Saturday 30/09/17.
The groupwatch of the winner will begin on Sunday 01/10/2017 at 19:30 :)

Thank you to everyone who joins the watches btw

Interesting. Personally I think Psychological and Mystery are two of the hardest genres to define, so it gives me a lot of imagination to put into my suggestions. I suggest...
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Welcome to the NHK
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
and while I personally didn't enjoy it, Serial Experiments Lain is still an excellent choice for this topic
