| So it begin. Hyped af for more Owarimonogatari and the 4 anime of spring that keeps going in summer that im still watching. Definitly looking forward to try Kakegurui, Tsurezure Children, Princess Principal, Ballroom e Youkoso, Shoukoku no Altair, Made in abyss, Vatican Kiseki Chousakan, The reflection, Nana Maru San Batsu and New game! S2. Ill also try Fate/Apocrypha, Touken Ranbu, 18if, Isekai Shokudo, Koi to uso, Aoyama-kun, aho girl, Konbini kareshi, Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e (TV) and Youkai Apartment but im not really sure if ill like them. I hope that i do for at least a couple of them. |

| I might not be able to pick up as much series as I used to, but I am definitely watching a few. I have Ballroom e Youkoso, Hitorijime My Hero and Koi to Uso in mind... Not really sure about the others. |

| With Kakegurui , Jigoku Shoujo and Owari S2 I am so happy with this season. We even have some good shows besides those. |

| The closer we come to Kakegurui's air date, the more excited I am for it. It looks like it's going to be a really crazy ride and I do feel confident MAPPA is going to deliver in terms of animation and overall quality. Aside from that, out of the new/non-sequel, nothing is really "standing out". Like I'm sure there will be some really solid anime, but nothing is looking too special atm. I'm giving quite a few a try though. |

| The season on the whole doesn't look as strong as Winter 2017 but much better than what we had this past Spring. I've only got my sights set on four of these so far, but I'll see how well received the others are as they progress. |

| This looks like a really strong season tbh...and that's not counting the second half of MHA and Virgin Soul. I've got Dive!! for my bishounen fix, Hitorijime my Hero for some fluffy BL, Touken Ranbu for action, eye candy & eye-gasms, Ballroom e Youkoso for classy sports and god knows what other dark horses are lurking. Also, MAPPA appear to be on an upward slope lately. First Yuri on Ice, then Virgin Soul and this season they're doing Kakegurui and Shoukoku no Altair, which both look awesome! |

| Chinese cultivation novels take up too much time. I have almost no time left for anime. From the anime listed here I know the source material of Knights & Magic, as well as Isekai Smartphone, both LN adaptions of the "isekai WN/LN genre". Unfortunately Smartphone is one the weaker ones. It's truly unfortunate that it's WN version ended up being boring and too "generic harem"-like. I might watch the first episode just out of curiosity if they make an already below-average LN into something even worse, or if they miracalously manage to keep it as is, or even unprecendentetly manage to improve on it. On the other hand I am quite eager about Knights & Magic. This one is as original as one can get in 2017: MC with mecha-obsession who reincarnated from modern world into a fantasy world, with magic-based Mechs, as a shota trap. I certainly haven't seen this combination before. I just hope they don't put some idiotic anime-original ending at the end of the series. I'd even prefer them just stopping whereever they end up stopping, while staying true to the source, even if the anime never would receive a sequel. |
