 The official website for Himouto! Umaru-chan has announced that the TV anime will receive a second season to air in Fall 2017. The main staff and cast members will reprise their roles. More information will be revealed at a later time.Himouto! Umaru-chan is drawn by SankakuHead and began its serialization in Young Jump in March 2013. The series currently has nine compiled volumes in print, with the tenth volume shipping on April 19. The first season by Doga Kobo aired in Summer 2015, and was simulcast by Crunchyroll. An unaired episode 13 was bundled with the manga's seventh volume in October 2015. Previously announced second OVA will also be bundled with the tenth compiled volume. | Totally well deserved! Really fun slice of life comedy with Umaru-chan being super mischievous. The Attack on Umaru-chan in the PV gave me a shock hahah, would be sick if they also bring back the first season song, the one being played in the PV, so catchy and nice pun. |
