Welp, at least the kids are getting some help now.

Meanwhile, I feel like the story has turned into a cat and mouse game with the heavenly kings hunting the kids down. I think the pacing slowed down a bit though especially since the previous two episodes were filled with action. Azuma really trying to prove something to everyone though...and I think he and Hiiragi has some rivalry going on. No wonder Kogane is pissed again this episode. The past hurts D:

Hiiragi and Kinoa OTP lol....All that aside, that was quite the emotional cliffhanger

Was nice to find out more history behind the events of their world as well as the individual families of each member of the team plus Reoko....I found all that information to be very interesting and I loved it

Finding out about Hiiragi's dad and his motives was good and I was surprised to see that his dad wasn't dead but just turned into a deadbeat drunk....It is kinda commendable that he wants to help him out regardless and when you have such a history like this, I would be proud of it and want to fight too.....His little fight with Azuma was funny too lol

Also, my MILF alert senses were tingling all throughout this episode lol, that woman is HAWT AS FUCK.....This episode in general was just great imo and I really enjoyed it as well as the tone of this series

Next week is gonna be intense as fuck

A Kitchen war among girl member, but the judge... And then a complete defeat. It'll be like : "Just because I'm a tomboy, doesn't mean I can't cook properly. Admit it, I AM Awesome". :D

Also it always scary to see whenever Kogane lose control because of her father's death. I wonder if she able to do the same but for other reason. :P

Shizuru too hilarious with her monotone Chuuni tendencies lol

Kinoa's trolling is fun.

Those were some brutal descriptions Kogane was saying at the end XD

Pretty good episode. More of a chilled, slower-paced episode compared to the last two. Can't wait for the next episode as it should be entertaining :D

And people said this show was generic nonstop action with no explanation. You got to give these shows time. This episode was great. It was fun getting to know the characters a little more and knowing some more of the backstory. There is much more i want to know which makes me much more excited to watch the next episode

I can't be the only one waiting for Kaoruko to show up, right? Such a big plot hole right there considering the parents sent them BOTH down together 10 yrs ago...

I feel like that is the one thing preventing me from thinking this series is really good. It is entertaining enough, I guess, however.

Kinoa is fun. "I'm so hungry, everything pisses me off." She's my favorite character of the show. Cool to see them explain stuff about Reoko. Looking forward to next episode.

In the summary provided on the anime spotlight on animenewsnetwork, it says that azuma was traveling the world with his dad for 10 years after landing before returning to japan. I would asssume that his sister is still traveling with his dad

The slow down explanatory episode everyone was waiting for. But... they go back into action right at the end ^^"

I still wish to learn more about the Bubuki/Buranki beings. Every piece seems to have its own will, kind of strange since their origin is a single living/robotic (?) being, and when they combine they just act like a classic mindless mecha.

Until now, this is the show that entertains me the more consistently.

I just want to punch Hiragi in the face.

I like how they manage to pull of some really interesting facial expressions, never was a big fan of CGI in anime but it's really improving, can't wait to see what they're capable of a couple of years from now

Pretty much, the sister's disappearance is the ultimate reason why I'm still watching this. Once she's found, I'm pretty much satisfied. They have until then, really, to get me more attached to this show.

Did you watch ep 2 or turned it out before ED? In the scene after ED it was clearly said that Reoko stuck in 18 years old body for 24 years. So she is in fact 42.

That was brought up last episode, Reoko is 40 years old, her body stopped aging when she was 18.

This series haven't moved past the first episode: the brother is still far less interesting than his sister.

That is a mighty big Chekhov's Gun they are created, and the longer they put it off, the bigger the explosion needs to be when it goes off, I am guessing next episode. Any longer and people will start dropping.

Considering the whole premise of wielding these creatures is that they're tied to a specific host though bloodlines, why the hell does Hiiragi even think he could wield the heart in the first place if Azuma could even hand it over?

I'm not totally sold on this series, but I don't hate it...

Azuma blamed himself this episode for the things falling ten years prior, which is out of place considering it was entirely his sister's fault. Had they not had the bath scene, I'd have much more considered the twist possibility that this Azuma is actually his twin sister Kaoruko, since she seemed so tomboyish in the first place.

Really I think I'm just waiting for the sister to show up again. Their mother had really stressed that them together would be the key, so them being separated now doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, given what Azuma wants to do -- I couldn't imagine his sister being uninterested.

Thank god they slowed the paced down.

A much welcomed world building episode needed for this show. There's still a lot of lingering questions but if they go on with form of world building it would be cool

The team is okay I suppose but it feels sometimes Hiiragi is an ass for the sake of arguments and team-building moments. His spur of anger comes out of nowhere.

Azuma's only emotions I've seen in this show is courage and will, apart from that he has a blank face by default. Which makes him interesting yet flawed in a way.

Based on Kogane's flashback, I believe it to be a misunderstanding at best. The father probably shot himself in order to protect some information by pulling the trigger that was held against his head. I'm just speculating here.

This episode made up for episode two almost entirely. Slowing the pace down a bit, and answering a couple (far from all) of the questions I have about the setting was a great thing for the series. Also having Hiiragi start to get his issues with Azuma out of the way was nice. It made him feel a little more like a character rather than just a rage archetype.

I'm also liking the way that the CG is being utilized, it also helps that they got a character designer whose characters look great in CG in the first place (look at the Fire Emblem Awakening and No More Heroes CG). It makes things look a lot better than some other anime that try unsuccessfully to use CG for whatever reason *Glares at Divine Gate*

Episode that does not show too much explanation, just something of what happened long ago, not much but at least now you can understand more, be satisfied.Technically it remains unchanged the quality of animation and CG, no complaints, the only solution is for the narrative a little too relaxed as the amount of information given.

The action finally slows down and we start to understand the world and what's happening. Truthfully I'd like to learn a bit more about what's going on, but this was necessary to move things forward. Some funny antics thrown in there too.

Kinoa is probably my favorite girl. Love her tomboyish bad girl attitude, plus the glasses and the braided hair make her dead sexy.

I'm loving Kogane in psycho-mode. Can't wait to see what she does next time.

I'm also still liking the CGI. Plus I really like some of the character designs.

I don't know what you're talking about. Those are clearly Gampbell's soup cans.

Kogane's rage mode was almost worth watching this whole episode for by itself.
