 The Twitter account of Comic Blade magazine announced that Kozue Amano's manga series Amanchu! will be adapted into a TV anime in Summer 2016. The series has been serialized since the January 2009 issue of the magazine, and there are nine volumes of the manga in print. The official website of Amano's Aria manga series also published commentary by the anime's production staff in conjunction with the announcement of the adaptation. Director Kenichi Kasai admits that scuba diving, the theme of the manga, is an unknown subject to him, but he looks forward to studying it more closely. Kasai also indicated that Japan's Izu Peninsula will be used as the model location for the festival. Synopsis Hikari Kohinata is a cheerful 15-year-old girl who lives near the ocean, and she spends much of her time diving as a result. On her first day of high school, she meets a teacher who also likes scuba diving. There's also the 16-year-old classmate, Futaba, who gets dragged along in Hikari's maelstrom as soon as they meet at school. Most of the manga so far details the relationship between the two girls, which quickly seems to move into romantic two-girl friendship-territory. More than studio, I think you need to look more at Director and Chief Director here. And while JC animating healing SoL is a very weird U turn after current trajectory of (superb) fanservice series, it was also known with much more subtler SoL. |

| I've read the first chapter of this and I already began to like it :) So I'm looking forward to this. J.C. Staff is odd as the studio as I don't recall seeing a relaxing SoL anime from them before. So this must be something new to them. Still, A Certain Magical Index, A Certail Scientific Railgun and Toradora are some of the best series that I liked from them, and we got Aria's director, so if he did direct well just like for Aria, then there shouldn't be flaws in this adaptation. Take example, the studio Silver Link, which both animated one of my fav SoL anime Non Non Biyori, which has, similar to Aria the relaxing and calm atmosphere, not to mention Nyanpasu as you know xD And then...they also did Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya with lots of fanservice, then in 2wei!.....that loli kiss which is more "graphic" than in the manga xD And then in Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 2wei Herz, they added more extra loli fanservice and some kissing that weren't in the manga from what I heard.From the creators of Aria, i`m look- >J.C.
