| This is by far my most favourite short from the entire EXPO. The animation, the art, the (small) story, the 2 characters. There's just so much to it in just 10 minutes. 10/10! | I don't understand how some people are calling this one fanservice. All of the nudity and whatnot seemed to be there in service of showcasing the Robot's perverted personality instead of there to titillate the viewer. It was a fun little comedy with some well crafted animation and a fun, yet nicely presented story... not some lame-ass ecchi bullshit without any purpose to it other than turning on it's viewers. |

| Wow i noticed that the character isnt completely 2D im thinking there is some CG in this one. Maybe it could be rotoscoping im not sure. That being said it looks absolutely amazing such fluidity. Id hope one day anime can achieve this level of quality in a full format tv series. |

If you liked the animation here, you should really check out the director, Hiroyuki Okiura's other work. He's mostly done film, and not very much TV anime, but I'm a huge fan of his. He directed and did key animation for the opening sequence to the Cowboy Bebop movie, did key animation on the first two Mobile Police Patlabor films, Akira, and the 2001 adaptation of Tezuka's Metropolis. He had his big directorial debut with Jin-Rou, which he also did key animation on. He even supervised on the 1995 Ghost in the Shell film and it's sequel Ghost in the Shell: Innocence. As far as animators are concerned, I'd say he might be my favorite, even though he doesn't seem to be doing quite as much work nowadays, which is somewhat disappointing. :( Anyway, if you're looking for something longer with a somewhat similar feel to this short, I'd say check out his most recent film, "A Letter to Momo". :) |

Anyways, while I admire the cool stuff they've done here with reflective surfaces (seriously, that trailer might as well be a traveling mirror), I don't get how a perverted robot works. I've long since learned to not question anime, but even still, how do you program that? |

| Great short scenario. The animation is amazing. The facial expressions and body movements! Wow! While I was looking at it I was like "kimi no na wa?" and I was right, Hiroyuki Okiura did the key animation for this movie as well. True the robot is funny. He creeped me out a bit though (I feared it would end with a rape when he came back in the trailer) but I loved the girl too. Voice acting was great as well. Music on point! A little masterpiece! |

| It's pretty funny how tonally different this is from other stuff Hiroyuki Okiura has directed like Jin-Roh. This is mad horny in comparison. His character designs for women are surprisingly sexy/appealing. |
