After all it seems to be a linear story, and each arc is adding new informations.
So it is not that bad at all.
Dub = fake crap. Always.

Was that really Shion on the phone? Probably not since she supposedly went missing. What was all that shit Keiichi was talking about? I don't even know...When has Rena been has analytical as L from Death Note? Why have 2 people died and 4 people disappeared anyways? I thought Oyashiro only sacrifices one person for every person who dies. I'm completely lost. This is why I hate mindfuck anime. You get lost in the story so easily.

Mion's face during that ladder scene...I think I may have shit myself...

That ending holy shit...I'm gonna have a lot of shit stains in my underwear by the end of the night...

This is one of those anime where I can't decide if I like it or not. The dark and creepy foreboding atmosphere I absolutely love but the mindfucking plots? Not so much not to mention the animation and the character designs fucking suck.

I would have been laughing if it weren't for Mion's scary ass face.

Very interesting, i'm guessing Keiichi hit the spot when he said Shion has been missing since the festival and it's Mion who is the culprit. Also why are two kids living together..alone!? -_-

That ladder scene was the first time this show has actually gotten any kind of scare out of me. Mions face was just creepy as fuck lmao.

But yeah, I had guessed it was Mion on the phone when she first called him this episode, the fact that they didn't show anything but a close up of her face the entire time made it pretty obvious. Also is Keiichi a dumbass or what? *She sounds just like Shion but I know its not her, who is it!!??* Uhhh idk Sherlock, its not like she has a twin sister or anything :/.

That ladder scene creeped me the hell out, Mion's face was very scary.

The cat and dog metaphor was awesome, well done with that.

Keiichi putting some of the stuff about the timeline together was cool, I realized it at exactly the same time that he started saying it... but who's on the phone? Mion pretending to be Shion, and getting information?

The ladder scene was so freaking weird. Not scary though... Just weird.
The way Mion's voice didn't match with the facial expressions was a bit cringy to watch.

Also, I've got to say that the MC is one stupid man indeed. Really, really stupid...
Why didn't he tell the cop that he has been talking to someone who's supposed to be Shion but, since she's disappeared, there's no way that was her?
Why did he 'give' all the he knew out when he knew for sure that it wasn't Shion on the phone?

And the cop... Seriously... Did he really giggle before telling him that Shion has disappeared? I mean, WTF?! "Ahah, and you're next" LOL

I feel like this chapter is more forced than the first one.

That last phone conversation was shit, for example.

Hmmm...I'm still liking the last story better.
Personally, I wish they would have just stuck with one story, like the first one.
Instead of this serial story by story thing. It takes away the feel.
I mean, you can't take the story as serious when you know it's going to end a few episodes later and another is going to be reborn.

After the first rewind it really made the suspense factor go down for me. I liked the first arc a lot more

I'm tired of all the names and events jesus i already have a headache and watching this shit is hurting my head even more.

This arc is just fuckin boring. They should've stuck to the first story instead of this shit.
also, knowing that they're gonna die and then just simply get resurrected literally takes all the suspense out of the show.

Watching for the first time. So everyone knows about the two of them going in, meaning it isn't causing the disappearances................ So, why then did Shion bring it up? My theory is it was her way of finding out who Keichi has told. She then bumped them off. She's "missing" because she killed Mion and has taken her place. Where does Rena fit in? I have no clue. I'm guessing she's either Shion's ally or is waiting for her chance to strike. Both love Keichi.

Reno being Holmes is creepy AF. She could have kidnapped both of em.

Also, poor Shion. There is no hope of redemption of Mion now. I hope Shion helps Keiichi later on.(In another arc duh).

No more explanations about how another fucking arc exists. And that weird ladder scene. I hope that they explain all this shit in the end.

*sigh*Another 2 seasons. They will not explain this I expect.

Without change,we end up becoming the very person we hate.

I swear to god I'm going to die of a heart attack because of this show. Jesus christ this show is scary.
The two kids live alone smh, it's like they were begging to be killed. Next episode will probably be the end of this arc so I'm guessing we're gonna get some deaths. I'm so not ready for this.

I think Keiichi was somewhat dumb. First, he always told lie, and never had confessed his sin before Oishi asked him on that car. Second, he even didn't notice that the person who call him in the end was not Shion anymore, but that psycho--Mion...

I bet it was Mion talking to him on phone all this time and real Mion disappeared soon after they left the temple or this weird cop lied and it was Shion's trap all along and Shion is alive.
Anyway , twins are behind all of this 100%.

Rika and Satoko have gone missing now. Rena's speculation on why they left their house was really interesting. And the person on the phone was Mion after all?

Overall, a really great episode. The ladder part was a little weird, though.

Okay. On these one, i got a revelations about the truth of Shion. She already missing when Keiichi accepted the first telephone from her. Damn, creepy af! Also, its not so long. The explanations of Rika kinda confused me a lot . Keiichi must ask her there, how to told her and ask for her protection. Because she was missing after that event. Damn so much mystery. Was Keiichi needed to stay with Rika? I still don't know if its possible. Even i thought Rika already seen something unexpected before met Keiichi. Something like, a murderer, or such. Such a shame its still remain a mystery of why she acted like that xD.

About the curse, i believed, a possibility, that Shion and the other twos came back again to the ritual tool shed of Oyashiro and watched something that they were not supposed to be see. Well, its just like that. I need more episode to understand better. But, one thing sure on these: Mion just as crazy as fuck, creepy, and must be burn in hell! XD

Thats it for me.

Hmm, is it Mion faking Shion or is it Shion faking Mion. Man, I can't tell. But, that was really good, Rena's pretty smart to be able to make a really good speculation like that.

Let's go next episode is the climax of this chapter, let's see how our boy Keiichi will suffer.

Either Keiichi is dense and doesn't realize it Mion pretending to be Shion. Or it really is Shion but she pretending to be Mion at the end there and Mion went missing in Shion's place of the curse.

I am so confused. It seems this time around the characters are completely different from the first arc. Both, the characters' personalities and the events are different. How am I supposed to figure out who's the killer like that x.x

I'm sure it's a parallel world or alternate universe. And we're seeing different versions of the story or the setup was different enough to change the whole thing. Just speculation.

Rika secretly told Keiichi that she'll look out for him. She's such a sweet child.

So after Rika and Satoko's parents died, they have been living together? Alone? No guardians? Bruh they are little kids. Really hoping that they aren't dead.

This reality's Mion is pretty psycho but Rena seems to be on Keiichi's side this time. Apparently she 'knows'.

Welp Shion is missing now. I'm pretty sure something was up when she told the village chief about what they did. But did she really say that? The one on the phone with Keiichi was never Shion...I'm pretty sure that's just Mion pretending to be her and getting info outta Keiichi. (⊙_⊙;)

Since 2 people (Tomitake and Takano) are now dead and 4 people (Rika, Satoko, Shion and the Village Chief) are missing now, should Keiichi be safe now? I think the yearly occurrence is now complete unless they really wanna kill Keiichi.

I don't have time today to replay the visual novel's portion of this episode, nor do I clearly remember every detail of truth,
but I can at least say that Rika and Keiichi's metaphor of cat versus dogs was fun to watch.

I'm not sure yet, but I feel like Keiichi's panic and sobbing for Rika's disappearance was better performed in the visual novel.
That ladder shake was poorly animated which was disappointing, even though the performance was good.
Hearing the laugh in anime was quite epic. It gave me goosebumps. Same feeling in the VN though.
