| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kind of a calm episode I guess. I'm starting to get used to Hinata now but he still needs more practice. I like how he keeps practicing with others though. The episode felt kinda slow for some reason. Maybe it's because a lack of competition. Still, Tobio is pretty intimidating especially with his glares. |

| Vice noticed that that yakuza looking guy planned to help the two out. He's also helping especially the main guy with the practice, starting from basic. Two guys who would fight against them entered. That megane guy has bad personality (Uchiyama-san?). The main guy finally was able to receive it after few days of practice and that "opponent" finally accept him. The match next. |

| Tsukki and Yama-chan, precious babies~ (Tsookie, lol, subs have made my day) Calm but still awesome build-up episode, can't wait for the next week to see this wonderful 3-on-3 match (though, tbh, all the matches in Haikyuu!! are stuning). |

| Another great episode. Really loving the quality of the art and character designs so much! One of the rare times I watch an anime and not see a single derp face in an ep ^^ U really gotta feel bad about Hinata whenever he talks about his middle school days not having a single person he can really call teammate :( Loved how serious he was training. Gotta respect the kid ^^ The awesomeness of the scene when he was receiving consecutive shots was so EPIC! Was really happy seeing Hinata's training pay off and making Tobio respect him enough to toss him the ball. The feeelz when Hinata spiked were so good :D Tsukki (WTF @ Tsookie O_o XD) is an ass as I remember but gotta admit his character design is amazing. Dat long neck though XD |

| Another great episode. It got a good progression curve. They are slowly getting more confidence in each other. They still hate themself, but at least, Kageyama made him a pass. Those two new guys look like they like to provoke. From what they said, they lost a finale competition because they were tired of Kageyama being an asshole. Not really surprising. From the preview, it look like Hinata still have a lot of progress to make xD |

| What kind of athlete antagonizes their new teammates that would be playing with them for the next few years? The fact that Kageyama didn't even recognize him implied that tall asshole wasn't even a famous player yet he had the gall to insult Kageyama (surely Kageyama would've been familiar with top players in middle school?). But of course this being the typical sports anime, that tall guy would've been surprisingly good for some reason. ~sports shounen logic *smh*~ |

| It really was nice seeing Hinata practice so hard to become better until the other two 1st years came and ruined it all, but he showed them how high he can jump like a boss! It's nice to see that some friendship has built between Hinata and Kageyama in the end. |

| Im in love with this series! I think its one of the few I'm going to actually look forward to watching every week. I'm in love with Kageyama <3 I really love the dynamic with him and Hinata. I also love that everybody starts as competitors and then become team mates. I find this better than the normal "okay we are all team mates, now let's beat that other school". The way they're introducing the characters now really highlight what they will individually bring to the table before they unite. Can't wait for next week! |

| Tsukki! (What the hell is with the subber making it Tsookie?!) Is it just me or is Tsukishima's character design the most handsome out of all of them? It's like they worked extra hard to make him look really attractive. Kageyama is such a softie! That toss to Hinata really meant something, and thus start the formation of their partnership. Good episode as always! |
| It was a bit slow of an episode but the last part made up for it. Ahhh brb crying Really good development. I love how this show makes use of the flashbacks and puts them in the perfect places to create intense build up. Megane blondies a bit of an ass, but I'm gonna bet that I'll love all of these volleyball dorks by the end of this series. | Quickly becoming my favorite anime this season Love the interaction and buildup. Good banter back and forth and some growth made for a nice episode. And that smile/emotion by Hinata at the end sums up the episode nicely :) |

| Probably one of my favourite episodes this season from any anime i watch.I don't even know why, but i enjoyed every single second of it like hell.
