| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah this was a decent start for the tournament. I like how both teams are trying out there with their skills. And like usual, I like the way the OST was coordinated with the pacing. It was nice seeing the girls compete too :3 Overall, good episode. I like how Yui tries to encourage her team as the captain yet also feels sad. |

| That was a quick match. Really like how they portrayed the feelings of the players that lost. Noya was so damn cool at the end! Karasuno vs. Datekou is going to be an awesome match. |
| Great episode as always! I felt so bad about Tokonami and Karasuno female team :'( There has to be a spin-off with the female Volleyball club!!! Now against Datekou! Let's GO!!! |

| Another great episode! Man, this was quite the emotional one too. The whole theme about 'not giving up' and 'regret'. Felt really bad for the all the losing teams but really glad Karasuno moves on and is up against Dateko. Nishinoya is definitely AWESOME! xD He was able to restore the Karasuno team's confidence. :DD Can't wait for the match~ 5/5 |

| Great episode. I really like how they handled the part about the "losers", it was really well done and gave the episode a very emotional tone. Most sports manga/anime nowadays try to make that point but this has to be one of the most efficient ones I've seen so far. Also gotta give credit to how they capitalized on the heavy atmosphere with the Nishinoya scene. That was good comedic timing. |
| Good start for Karasuno. That part regarding those who have lost was done well. Very emotional. Up against Datekougyou next - the "Iron Wall" Can't wait to see this game. |

| No jokes, I cried when I was reading the victors and the defeated in the manga, it is still one of my favorite scene in the manga. But I didn't cry here, guess it's the kind of thing that works only once. Still, I felt sad for them. :( And here comes Datekou!! (My bro's fav team) Ahhh, Noya-san is sooo awesome! But he shined more in the manga version. :D |

| The first half was really fleshed out more than I expected them to but it was a great focus on how the loser feels ^^ The girls in this series are HOT :3 Dem thighs XD The ending with Noya's cheering was awesome :D Really great Libero indeed ^^ |

| They showed all the loosing teams including the karasuno girls team which was nice. I think it's going to be a tough match for Asahi next week since its against Dateko and after he couldn't hit any spikes it made him want to quit. |
| I read that the manga/anime together was doing pretty well. It should get a second season (i hope) ! First time i was really this sad for the loosing teams, they made a really good point about it. Whichever studio is taking care of Haikyuu is doing a great job ! :D All the characters look good, even the extra characters have varied faces. |

| It looks like they are still making common mistakes, well you can't improve at everything overnight. So Daichi was the only one to be sad about them losing in junior high hm. Kageyama is freaking OP lol. The girls volleyball team doesn't seem to be doing so well at all... The game ended pretty fast, but that was to be expected considering how good their team is. Ohooo, Karasuno vs Dateko! Awww, the girls lost T.T LOL at the rolling thunder XD. Can't wait to see how their game goes next episode. |

| Wow, I'm really impress with this episode, it gives you an emotional and realistic feel when you play volleyball; if you are losing, or if you are winning. The first half was pretty much well done, when they show how bad losing is and how determined they are win it. Nice side story on the girls side to see how they are doing and the feel of their playing. Karasuno vs Dateko up next, damn I want to see the match so badly. |

| great episode, I liked how this episode shows the point of view of those who lose their matches, which are in the last year and can no longer play, it's something we're not used to seeing and I had never thought about it, how many good players stop playing because this type of situation? Seriously, this episode reflects reality. |

| Very moving episode. It was great. I can't wait to see the girls cheering for the guys. They will realize how amazing the boys are and scream "KARASUNO, KARASUNO" or something. I'll have goosebumps for sure. Nishinoya is the best guy of this show. Srsly the hole scene of his Rolling Thunder was truly awesome. Can't wait for more. Fly, Karasuno! |

| I love the focus on girls volleyball. I really, really, really do. Too bad Karasuno Girls' lost. :( An Iron Wall versus flying Crows? Really? There's no question who will win in metaphors, that is. Side note: I heard somewhere that shouyo means "to soar". If that's the truth, then Hinata is the one who gave lift to Karasuno's wings. |
