| If your idea of fanservice is long blonde hair blowing in the wind then you could do a lot worse than this. On that score, an A+. As for the rest of the show, all I ask is that it be even mediocre, which the original, to be blunt, was not. |

| Episode 1 and I already like this party more than Bell's one. Ais badass as always, the sisters were great and for the love of G-O-D, it's episode 1, Lefiya is gonna improve! |

| Sentai please don't sub it yourself anymore and let Amazon strike do it please. That said I wish they adapt more of it that make the series darker, not this fan service shit plz. That said, this will definitely top Bells one if you like darker and more violent version of damachi. Hopefully the sub quality improved... and animation quality. This shouldn't be a cash grab, it had the potential to be better than the main series animation wise and story. I can't wait to see the Loki families destroy stronger mobs outside of the parallel story. Sadly, it only 12 episode and the darker part doesn't come until later. JC staff just love cutting out stuff making it look like a generic story and removing all the monologues and characters development. |

| So hopefully after watching the first episode of this, people I know can stop saying this is season 2 to DanMachi because it's not, it's basically the other side of the story to season 1 and a side story at that. I'm kinda tilting my head as to why the fanservice but since Hestia was mostly the fanservice of the parent story, I'm guessing they had to compensate somehow. Anyways, going from earlier comments it seems like this series isn't exactly source accurate. Fortunately I didn't like the first series enough to care about accuracy of it so that feeling will continue with this side series. Overall it was pretty decent. My hype was somewhat let down but still good enough for me to continue watching. |

| Ais: And that, my children, was how I met your father (lol) Well they did a decent job of adapting Sword Oratoria so far. Liked how they just did a quick introduction to each character and their levels (though new viewers may yet be confused as to the power rankings). A lot of the start of this story will be presented in Lefiya's point of view, and yes she does improve significantly in time. Love how they made Tione's love for Finne so pronounced already, since this is suppose to be a running joke throughout. Overall a decent start to Ai's side of the story. I just hope they adapt her inner monologues well enough. |

| I didn't realize there were idiots who disliked Hestia until I looked in this thread. Now I'm sad. J.C. Staff has three shows going this season. Because of the quality of the other two, I figured most of their time and budget was going into this one. Apparently that's not the case. They just stretched them selves thin and have three shows with incredibly sub par quality. Anime this season is turning out to be kind of a bummer. Literally all I could think about during that scene.  |

| Naively I believed the people who said this should be better since the shit shonen MC isn't MC anymore and it was supposed to be darker but after the first episode I have doubts. Same as the first season, this one is probably not for me either. |

| Spiky ear mage wimp girl is even worse MC than Bell. I like series that are bland or bad enough to know it's not worth watching after 3 minutes. Dropping this and waiting for second season of Hestia's body. |

| The story is all too easy in its interpretation, it wants to focus on the character of Lefiya or so has suggested in this episode. Even the places where the story began, are recognizable. The battle is not bad as fighting and choreography, but is not very compelling. Funny enough in his comedy. The quality of the drawings is undeniable. Let's see how they complete this season. |

| I was hoping this side story will be better than the parent story, but if they keep focusing on Lefiya over Aiz' "badassery", it's going to tick me off. In terms of the bug creatures, how the hell is Tione still alive after the heavy acid exposure? A little while ago, it melted a steel sword. Is her hide stronger than steel or something? Nice to see the connection to Bell Cranel but I had to rewitness the cringey scene in his first encounter with Ais. Overall though, decent enough intro episode. I like how it's action packed already. I thought level 50 was supposed to be a territory where creatures stayed away from the sanctuary except for that final boss in the last episodes of DanMachi, but I guess not. Hoping to see Ottarl in the future episodes |

| I liked that it was a lot better than the other DanMachi. Better action - nice fight with a big experienced group and lots of different fighter (different "classes") fighting together. Aiz a bit quiet ... not talking a lit. So the possible sub-plot centered around Lefiya might come in handy. Liked her. Nice to see Bete again (the only one where I remembered the main - besides Aiz - from their group.) Hopefully more battles like that (since they are with a larger group) and some char development for Lefiya. And less Hestia (it's already annoying that Aiz starts to like some crappy guy like Bell). |

| It was nice to see Bell at the end. I really liked this first episode, it's interesting to see the other side of the story. Lafiya is a bit useless so far, but I think that she will quickly progress. |

I ask as a sincere question, since I usually don't even notice low animation quality: ignoring big showcase scenes, do anime ever substantially improve in overall animation quality after the first episode? People usually say the first is the best, both because the studio may have more time for it, and because it's meant to impress potential viewers. |
| For me it's the reverse To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. While Railgun benefitted from making a supporting character into the MC, this doesn't. |

| I liked this familia alot more than in the original and I hope this will become better. Leyfia was annoying and I sure hope she will improve or this will suuuuck! But my main reason for watching this is for Tione and Tiona... but mostly Tiona! Amazon twins best yo and they got quite alot of screentime and if they keep appearing as much as in episode 1 I will be satisfied! |
| Oh boy I sure hope I didn't need to finish watching the first season of this to watch this one. I watched like 4 episodes and then just kind of stopped caring and never continued it again, though I don't remember why. This was pretty awesome, much better than I expected it to be anyway. |
