| 3/5 for this. It was okay. I see the potential in this but it was quite dull for a first episode. Hope it gets better. And I love the little brother so far. He's adorable. Loving the setting so far. |

| Before anything else: I didn't get to know about this because of the earthquake, it was just a random find. Looks 'promising' so far. That sounds so bad after everything that happened not long ago. Anyway, I heard it's gonna be sad, so I'm prepared. I don't find the girl so annoying, she is just the normal rebellious teenager girl. Though I hope the girls is gonna be kinder, well, actually I'm sure of it. I don't really like how it was like she 'caused it' with her texting. I think it was pretty unnecessary. I also wonder if they are actually going to show people dieing or just make implications. |

| After watching the first episode, I get the feeling it will look promising since we got the back story of the main brother and sister out of the way. I'm interested to see how the story will progress however, whether it will end up like Grave of the Fireflies or just another disaster movie where everyone lives and its a happy ending. |
| A bit unrealistic, Japan has warning systems in place that send messages out to phones and TV stations automatically to make people prepared at short notice in an event like this. That and Japan's buildings are designed to prevent earthquake damage and are shock resistant. It is very obvious the girl is gonna go from an unlikeable brat to Jesus by the end of this series. |

| Excellent first episode, with great attention to details and characters. | I like the character so far. They are so... normal. She just seem to be a normal teenager in her rebellious years. She don't seem to have any particuliar trait or talent. I also like the fact that her first thought during the earthquake was for her brother. I stressed the whole episode trying to figure out when the earthquake would strike xD |

He just wanted to go see some robots. :( That earthquake happening right after Mirai sent that text message seemed pretty unrealistic but whatever. Love the OP though that's expected because it's fucking Abingdon Boys School. Those smiles look so weird. The animation looks pretty piss poor so I'm assuming Bones was working with a fairly limited budget. Pretty good first episode. It probably would have been average if it weren't for the dank earthquake at the very end. 7.5/10 |

| Wow, pretty good start! And realistic when it comes to relations. Now suffering begins. Let's hope her brother is ok. I wonder how Mirai (fitting name btw) will cope up with loss of mobile network, that would be shock for her. And I bet her attitude will change a lot after this experience (the idea with essay on future is good, can't wait what she will write about). Now for next 10 episodes I bet they will be searching for their parents with many hardships on the way. And it seems that girl from the store is gonna keep them company for a while. I'm pretty excited about this already, it seem it will be good watch. |

| For some reason, I expected to see a magnitude 8.0 earthquake in Tokyo. The little boy is so cute I could cry. I want a little boy like him, too >.< And the girl is, well, like a lot of teenage girls I guess. Reminds me of myself xD "My name may mean future, but I have no idea what mine is."- that was kewl :) |

Should've also figured they would've taken the time to introduce the MC and give us an idea of her life before the earthquake rather than just putting us smack in the middle of the catastrophe a few minutes in. |

| Glad I read this thread as I thought the episode was very bland and Mirai being a brat was annoying me. But reflecting on it, this was very realistic and I'll see if I want to stick with it after episode 2. |
| It ended when I least expected it. The episode went by pretty fast~ Mirai's name sure is ironic, but fitting for the events that will take place later on. She was cute when she was acting all tsun-tsun only to break her facade a lot of times lol She really jinxed it xD It's a first time for me to see a realistic portrayal of an earthquake I think. The ED's really catchy and I like it a lot~ |

| Oh man, the characters in this are soooo realistic, Mirai is totally me when I was 12-13 years old, it's almost scary, lol. Yuuki is such an adorable otouto too, I feel real bad for him! Great first ep, got pretty much what I was expecting so far. Plus the opening song is really cool, even though I'm not sure whether it's gonna fit the mood of this show that well, but we'll see. |

| Dam, 8.0 on the Richter scale? it was a very big earthquake, this anime reminds me of the earthquake in japan with 9.1 on the ritcher scale (2011) |
