| Skipped the hard-boiled episodes^^ This ep was really good, lots of Okita-stuff. The first time he really shows emotions^^ and we get to know a lot of the pasts of Okita, Hijikata, etc. That's cool. I got also quite happy when I saw Okita using the rocket launcher again^^ He didn't use it for many episodes^^ Okita's sister and Hijikata fit greatly together^^ Spice and Mayonaise xD Continuing to the next ep^^ |

| This episode really shows how dynamic this show can be. Also, I like how it shows the character's relationships randomly throughout the episodes so that it mixes it up a bit. |

| Even though its her first time being introduce to the series, she fits right in and she makes a lovely couple w/ the vice captain. So much hate on Hardboil arc! I like the second episode out of the 2. |

| I'm crying right now as I write this T-T That was beautiful.. I hate you Hijikata!!!! SHE LOVES YOU! YOU CARE ABOUT HER! OMG. She's about to die. Show some love! Sogo, I love you SO much.. Tell Hijikata to make your sister happy. Poor Sogo. Watching as his sister confesses to the person he doesn't like. I feel so bad for him. To see his sister utterly rejected and suffering. Her fiancee is really nice though. I really like him :) even though he's a black arms dealer.. o.o Hijikata.. I hate you. For now. |

Two of my favorite characters centered in an episode... Okita and Toushiro... urgh, feel sorry for the sister though. :< The last part with Okita made me sad . _ . |

| I loved this episode! Coming oFf the lackluster hard-boiled arc, this was a huge step-up! What i like about these flashback episodes is that we find out how most of these characters know eachother from way back like Kondo-san and Sougo, or Gintoki and Zura - It really adds depth to Gintama world and the show in general! Learning more about Okita isn't a bad thing either, that guy has been an enigma for so long: Now we know why he has a deep hatred for Hijikata! Gintoki pretending to be his friend too was hilarious, but also kind of sad cos it shows that he doesn't really have any friends... AND WHAT'S WITH THE DAMN AFRO?! xD |

I was expecting Matsurabi to meet the sister in law, Kagura. :D I hope that it happens next ep?? But looks like it's going to be all action and stuff... |

| Oh god the romance. Nice rebound for the show. I don't know what will happen next time it's kinda unpredictable. Either way this arc is a very good one so far. |

| Woah, that was a great mix of comedy and drama. That's the Gintama I like. It's nice to finaly know where come Sougo hatred against Hijitaka. I'm pretty sure that Hijitaka is distant to Sougo sister because he want her to care more about Sougo. But yeah, it was sad when she telled him her feeling and he just said ''I don't care''... I liked when Sougo was at that restaurant and shooted to those guy with his bazooka xD And oh god, that perfect tobacco flavored xD It looked awful. It's nice to know that Hijitaka was addicted to mayo even in his youth :P I hope Sougo sister don't die :( I'm convinced that Gin-san will find a solution to save Sougo sister or give her a good last memory. |

| Sougo's sister is such a good person. Sougo really respects her a lot. Lol'd when he was obediently said sorry to her. Gintoki can be bribed off by chocolate parfait so easily, he become Sougo's friend in an instant. Lol at One piece reference this episode. Sougo!!!!!! <3 the feels in this episode!!!!! I feel so sorry for him!!!!! Sougo is too awesome I will never hate him no matter what!!!!! Well I also love the fact Sougo is a sadist, he makes me laugh. |

| I don't know why, but I think this is the most I've teared up from an episode of Gintama up until this point. There's definitely been a number of tearjerker moments up til now, but just something about learning more about their past and the storytelling really resounded with me. Gintama really does just get better and better. |

| Lol, I wish Gin was wearing a Soul Reaper outfit from Bleach lol. But at least Ichigo was on the bag (Bleach was the last super long anime I watched lol, still reading the manga). That was a cute episode! Sougo is so different around his sister, and awww, he thinks Hijikata stole everything from him, his sister and Kondou. Awww! Hijikata made him bleed! D: Awww, his poor sister doesn't know she wants to marry a criminal but Sougo doesn't want to ruin her happiness with him as she doesn't have much longer to live :( awww, that'sw sweet. It was random that Sougo wanted Gin to pretend to be his friend lol. His sister really shouldn't eat all of that spicy food! D: I wonder if Hijikata really does like his sister or not, she likes him so much, it's cute. Maybe he doesn't want to make Sougo feel worse if he already knows why he doesn't like him is because of that stuff. Or maybe he just wants to be Sougo's friend and not ruin it by dating his sister in case he broke her heart. |
