| Sendō should have refused the belt. He knows he didn't win. If I were him, I would have taken a microphone and admonished the referee and judges, then left the belt on the canvas. |

| It's revolting to see the extent to which exceptionally biased people are blind to reality. They only see what they want to see if the situation is under their control. I hope Volg meets with success in his future endeavors. He really deserves it. |
| This was really depressing, regardless of Volg losing due to referee mistake. I hated how he received zero support from the crowd, he had an awesome fight!! It is really bad and meaningless to oppose someone so badly just because he is a foreign, having no fans at all just because he is a foreign, that is certainly hard. Volg was an amazing character, and from the farewell I am assuming he is not showing again, this made me sad :( |

| So annoying how Volg got screwed over by the Judges after such a hard fought match for both of them. Then to top it off his gym terminates his contract so he has to leave Japan. Really? Volg, Sendo and Ippo are obviously the top 3 Featherweight boxers in Japan with Volg being a bit better than Sendo due to his skill yet he still gets screwed over just because the foreigner doesn't bring in the crowds....What a waste of talent. jacobpaige said: That felt like a hometown decision, and I just lost a whole lot of respect for Sendo for accepting it :/ Who says he accepted it? The fact that he wouldn't raise his arm, his annoyed expression, and telling Volg that he didn't feel like the winner so he'll give him top priority as challenger should be enough to show that he was pissed off and displeased at the Judge's decision. It's not like he has the authority to make them change it. |

| Wow can't believe Sendo won. That ending was so sad, Vorg definitely deserved the win but that referee screwed him over. |
| I wish the fight was longer. Still, for what it was it was good. I'm hoping Vorg comes back. I was just starting to really like him. So this sets up Ippo Vs Sendo for the title belt. I'm assuming that's where the first series will end. Honestly though, I feel like him overcoming Date would be more meaningful than another Sendo fight. He's already beaten the guy, and he isn't as tough as Date or Vorg. Plus, he doesn't have that veteran aura that Date had which'll make it feel less impactful if Ippo gets the title from him. |

| I kind of like that the writers didn't make it seem like Japan is incapable of bias against fighters from other countries. It holds that if Miata had to win convincingly in Thailand, Vorg needed to win convincingly here. You see this type of shite in international sports a lot. |

| Holy shit that was an emotional last scene. I liked Volg's character, he has that solemnent look, is an introvert guy and is living and fighting alone in a foreigner country which is always tough. Looks like Ippo is the closest thing to a friend he's ever had. I really hope we can see him back again, probably in the world championship? Not really sure why he should have to drop his gloves and the gyms have really few endurance if they kick a player after only 2 losses (looks like money is involved, even when we haven't seen Ippo or the others get their paycheck, or did we? I don't recall it). He has probably the best skillset out of all the competitors except for Date, yeah I know his stamina and resistence to the hits isn't the best, but still. And by the way, lol c'mon so the rigging isn't only a matter of our reality but also is a part of this anime? Damnit, let's be real, Volg clearly won that game, that was a homecall from the referees. Sad to see this. Takamura stealing Aoki's wallet and money was hilarious XD This show never dissapoints in the humourous side. |

| Sendo became the new featherweight champion, really thought Vorg would win. Really sad to see him leave Japan because of him losing. Poor Aoki for having his money stolen by Takamura. |

| Man, this episode was brutal for Vorg. Not that he got beaten badly but the fact that he got played like that. I'm sure Sendou felt bad about it as well. And then the airport scene. That part gets me everytime, it's heartbreaking. This show is truly something else. |
